You can tell Neil is a true friend to Blake, by the way he made sure to sit there and laugh at him for a good bit and make sure he got as much laughing and ridiculing out of the way before he decided to help. Good stuff!
I just went on a night ride, it makes everything so much more interesting. The black trails your bored of seem like a whole new trail. Also I find it makes climbing easier as you can’t see the top.
The Elan is certainly a gem - I wasn't sure how this night ride was going to turn out but 14 minutes flew by as if I were on a youtube flow trail. Good going. Mark
YAY I see You use the half-size Kelly Kettle. We take it's bigger brother as part of our standard kit when heading into the hills on the bikes. always good to get a hot drink in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere! Keep on having fun on 2 wheels and keep up the good work on the videos :-)
Hilarious! That's was the swamps revenge for Blake's recent attempt of submarining while selfie-shooting during that other EPIC ride in Scotland :D This time the water caught you ... Epic adventure, keep this coming!!! Great team, too!
Just about 37 and 1/4 MI in the dark interesting I already noticed that one of you fell over in the ditch and from the looks of that small patch of video you did a OTB Marsh mud and gunk just from what it looks like on the aftermath Blake , Neil you two did a fantastic video and the crew did as well can't forget them
Was surprised to see MagicShine as your ad. I’ve had one for about 4 years and can’t fault it. Was a fraction of the cost of an exposure etc that were the rage back then.
Great Nightride content😄🤘👍Nightride mtbiking is phenomenally awesome!! i love the trails at night it will look magical especially if you're going fast and also those magicshine monteer those are extremely powerful bikelights that's a good light if you're going warp speed into some fast technical trails.
I have he same light on my bike and let me tell you it is legit ! Well worth the money. Many of y friends have bought some cheap one on amazon and they do not compare.
i was laughing cause he didnt even try to help him but just stand there and laugh…thats when you know you have a best mate with you..wont help but laugh his ass off..hahaha nice night riding
Magicshine monteer 6500s on the handle bar and magicshine MJ-906S on the helmet is a brutal amount of light. Run at half mode is with this combi more than enough to see any detail of your trail. In half mode you will have a long run time over more than 3 hours easily this in combination with plenty of light. Only minor point is the short wire from MJ-906S. Is to short as helmet lamp and external batterij in jersey pocket. Is needed to place a bit higher on the back.
Slipknot and killer sheeps :D I love night ride, so quiet so empty, only foxes looking around. Mostly I ride in the city Cracow after work but it is night.
Blake mate, your not alone in running into 27.5” deep smelly welsh bogs. I did exactly the same on my betws-y-coed emtb holiday last month. Only i did it in the daytime! 😂
I live in the US. I bought the Magicshine 8000s Galaxy light for $417 (after tax) and it's super awesome! However, I'm reluctant to buy their headlight (seen in this video) because I'd prefer a light that doesn't require me to wear a backpack to stow the battery in. I think a headlight mounted to your helmet with an internal battery is a better solution. However, I haven't been able to find one with 3,000 lumens.
Outbound Lighting is the answer Magicshine has left me walking in the dark many times. Magicshine has decided to randomly kick off and not turn back on with more than one light.
A handlebar light by itself will cast big shadows across chuckholes making it impossible to gauge how deep they are. If you only have one light, make it a helmet light.
Night riding is far better than day riding because all your senses are heightened bigstyle and everything feels faster, sharper etc.....the key is to get a good set of lights! Like the boys said one for the bar one for the helmet and your away to go. Never ride alone on a night ride, always go with a friend or two. I've ridden alone on a massive local loop and it's super sketch. Had a massive off on the final decent but lucky didn't hurt myself. You should deffo give night riding a blast, if u love mtb'ing u will absolutely enjoy night rides! 🌙
You can tell Neil is a true friend to Blake, by the way he made sure to sit there and laugh at him for a good bit and make sure he got as much laughing and ridiculing out of the way before he decided to help. Good stuff!
Don’t really come across anyone with the same name as me
Blake’s unique
Blake and Neil's riding adventures are always my favorite on GMBN. We need more of this. Thank you for the video
That bit from 6:00 genuinely made me laugh !! Neil chuckling for ages, and then thinking I best go and help !! priceless 😂
Ive never heared neil laugh like this before. It made me laugh haaard as well 😅
That got a full belly laugh out of Neil who's usually the more serious & reserved one outta the GMBN presenters. Good video 🤣
I just went on a night ride, it makes everything so much more interesting. The black trails your bored of seem like a whole new trail. Also I find it makes climbing easier as you can’t see the top.
Sounds like you're quoting Seth's Bike Hacks.
I find it quicker, maybe I’m not looking around the peripheral and just chasing the beam.
@@DinnerForkTongue that didn't even cross my mind lol
It's the first time that I heard niel laugh so hard. And blake mention my favorite band. Best content ever.
I would like to see both of you do a fatbike trip during winter on snow 🤓
Love the riding in the dark with good lights. It feels like you are in some kind of zone when all you see is the trail ahead
I’ve recently discovered night riding and also the joy of crashing when night riding just adds to the drama and the laughter
The Elan is certainly a gem - I wasn't sure how this night ride was going to turn out but 14 minutes flew by as if I were on a youtube flow trail. Good going. Mark
Neil's hysterical laugh at blakes bog pass 🤣 .Good bit of night riding

That endo at 6:00, we've all been there. Only thing is, I had much less of an excuse as mine are mid day in the sun. lol Thanks for posting!
Hilarious! That's was the swamps revenge for Blake's recent attempt of submarining while selfie-shooting during that other EPIC ride in Scotland :D This time the water caught you ... Epic adventure, keep this coming!!! Great team, too!

Blake , Neil you two did a fantastic video and the crew did as well can't forget them
Finally Blake joins Doddy and Henry in the hilarious crash gang
can’t beat a bit of slipknot on a solo ride 🙌🏻👍🏻
12:57 when Blake is running his bike downhill. I’m dying with laughter
Riding in the night is unique surreal experience that everybody should try!
Was surprised to see MagicShine as your ad. I’ve had one for about 4 years and can’t fault it. Was a fraction of the cost of an exposure etc that were the rage back then.
What a epic night ride the magicshine lights look amazing I think I need to have a look at them 😀
Love watching the GMBN content. Always a good time! Night rides are always a good bit of fun.
OH WATCH OUT, ASS INSIGHT👉🏾 6:06 😂. Great ride boys🤙🏾.
Neil and Blake work so well together. I really enjoy their adventures.
The dynamic duo back again! This is now on my list for the new year... But in the daytime me thinks
Love night riding! Had my first serious crash and cracked a bunch of ribs.

I love the adventures the two of you are able to take. It makes me want try to plan more adventures instead of just rides.
Awesome Riding in the Dark Guys. Sick riding even in the dark😎😎🤘🤘and love these kind of videos
i was laughing cause he didnt even try to help him but just stand there and laugh…thats when you know you have a best mate with you..wont help but laugh his ass off..hahaha nice night riding

Very positive episode guys, fresh and funny. Please do more ;)
Tbh the slipknot bit is hilarious
Another banger from the lads at GMBN. 🤙🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Slipknot and night riding. Now that's a sure way to create nightmares
Just got a magic shine light for my ebike great for them dark winter morning commutes or night riding
Great effort guys
Brilliant vid boys, hit thumbs up before I watched so I'll give you two now.👍👍. Night riding is heaps of fun, gives you a whole new experience.
Very cool episode
Stay her watching for you mr 👍
Love these guys on assignment together!
**I wonder what sort of flat was so bad that Blake couldn't fix it and opted for the long walk??
Epic run especially the bog nose dive. Well done lads
7:44 That’s Blake’s next adventure sorted then: The Far Side Of The Moon. On a hardtail.
Imagine in a few hundred years digging up the Blake bog mummy.
I really enjoy night riding. It can be super spooky sometimes.
Very cool video
Those lights are worth as much as my hard tail 🤣 epic video though lads
Wow, awesome night adventure
Great video, love the epics 👍
Beautiful I want to go there
Damn Blake getting stuck in that bog was hilarious.
love the fact that blake is a slipknot fan

They do a RN 3000 makes a good headtorch .
Brilliant 😂🤣 love it
Outbound Lighting is the answer Magicshine has left me walking in the dark many times. Magicshine has decided to randomly kick off and not turn back on with more than one light.
Well that's shite. I run Lumintop and Convoy.
Night riding with some Slipknot (Iowa ofc) is an excellent idea!
A handlebar light by itself will cast big shadows across chuckholes making it impossible to gauge how deep they are. If you only have one light, make it a helmet light.
Nice riding
Night rides are fun, completely difference experience.
Blake’s front wheel😂😂😂
how did you find the MagicShine compared to the exposure lights that you have used in the (recent) past? Great video
I went out on a night ride a week ago with some great lights......I say great, dark, wet and misty, with the lights on or off I couldn't see a thing
Shout out to the camera man
I've never been on a night ride but it looks so fun!
Night riding is far better than day riding because all your senses are heightened bigstyle and everything feels faster, sharper etc.....the key is to get a good set of lights!

It's not a dragon it's a Griffin (in a Walsh accent) 🤣
Love this style of video, also ... anyone know what GPS was being used, assuming it's a garmin, but what sort?
Hey GMBN, can you do a video on starting with MTB late in life, e.g. how to deal with fear of crashing, more trouble with balance, .,. .
I can't even ride like that in daylight lol
Sick vid
I always watch your video mate, may I know what kind of brand you use in your handlebar lights. I am from the Philippines.
Great video! Why do we seem to need constant music in the backround? I'd like to hear the bikes on the trails💚
Lets hope he pulled his front hub axle and checks for water since it was under water for so long.
Would love to know what setting the GoPros were for this night ride.
the last time i rode there it was a bog fest.think it needs revisiting in drier weather
all the tops of those hills never dry out its permanent bog lol
Can you please ride at llandegla at some point it's in North Wales
Okay we get, those batteries last a looong time.
Nice ride gents. Neil how do record audio without a media mod on the GoPro?
What was niel using to look at the solar system
That pink helmet 😂
What app was Neil using to see the planets and constellations of stars??
Country-trail 😅 130 front, 120 rear with trail kit.
Ah listening to Slipknot while mountain biking = Send It.
7:42 - What was that app when looking at Jupiter, Saturn and the moon? Looks polished AF.
Also want to know this
6:05 caption contest moment?
That fall is so funny oh man I'm glad Neil is okay.
Too many bears and cougars out here to be night riding 😕🇨🇦
Welsh cougars are a bit different. 👩 💄
Funniest crash I've ever seen! 😂
Very good, but I prefer to pedal in the morning
Next up, the daylight version?
Good video guys. Blake no pump? I guess you didn’t listen to the advice you guys give about being prepared when you go on epic rides.
Group kit mate.
Hi!!!
Hi!
NOICE
When riding behind with such powerful lights was it harder for the lead rider to see with the extra shadows?
Not really, I bet. These lamps are disgustingly bright, far brighter than the camera lets on. Shadows are literally no concern.
I ride around the city at night hazardous
