This was a huge help mate cheers - 2016 Octavia estate sorted for the cost of a £25 part from eBay! Arm was seized on, tried GT85 and loads of wobbling and ended up using a chisel to get it off the end of the old motor pin. Legend!
Hi where i can find the plastic black part that connect the pipe to motor ? its shown on 05:26 ? i need only this part
Great job mate I am going to be deleting a wiper motor from a 2019 Skoda Octavia mark 3 this video really helps glad I don't have to pull the whole Shroud off to get to the three nuts going to be getting the blanket from the Professional specialist call kill a wiper just a quick question where do you think I should tap the water pipe of under the bonnet somewhere
Man this is perfect. I recently replaced my skoda 2015 boot and found the nosel from the motor had snapped on one side.
Maybe didn't have a washer fitting on the motor if it came off an estate as the washers on these are at the top of the tailgate and seperate from the wiper motor
Cheers man
My car has plastic cover instead of cloth how can I remove ..?
Thanks for this. Gunna give this a go next week hopefully. I could only get a new motor without the washer jet though so I’m guessing i can’t just change the broken part of the motor and keep the jet??
I dont think you can motor and jet are one
@@TEAMR4ULTV Ah well it was worth a shot I guess! Thanks for replying.
If car had rear washer ex factory and you fit a motor without, would it fail next MOT ? Irrespective, thanks for info. I have same model year and need new motor so will try to do it myself but with a new one 👍
Rear wipers are not in the MOT for example my Audi A6 dosnt have rear wipers. some cars dont have rear wipers. Thanks for watching really appreciate it.
👌
Any jobs going on at ur place,
No washer jet I would open the new motor and change the celenoid and use the old one.
Older models spray water for 1 second or so and only then start washing - not sure about new models. So you really need to do something about the pipe as well.
Im doing a wiper delete on my vrs
Ive done it and it was really straightforward. 👍
These rear wiper motors are universally absolutely appallingly designed and put together.I speak from a household that currently has a VW Golf 2.0 litre, VW Toureg 2.0 Tdi, a Skoda 1.6 Tdi and used to have a Seat Ibiza 1.4, an Audi S3 and a Skoda Fabia 1.6. So I know a fair amount about many VW parts. It does not matter what you replace this particular rear wiper motor with, either Genuine or aftermarket. They frequently fail as they're a really bad design relying on an internal seal between the base 'face' of the moving arm that has one half the fluid channel running through it into the other half running to the wiper outlet. The o ring and rubber lip seal inside the channel into which the wiper spindle fits just wears out so quickly. Fluid leaks into the gear case and corrosion attacks all the metal components and can seep through onto the circuit board on the other side of the casing. The replacing of the motor is a really quick job. It's just a lottery whether you end up with a better constructed motor that will last just a little longer or not.
Thanks for watching really appreciate it
