Have you tried tricking a dog into being happy by wagging its tail?
No but I have played with them until they’re happy
I think I heard correctly and why u gotta make fun of u saying stuff is Swedish bruh
Yes
Of course Im german
My dog has two tails, I couldn't figure out which one should I wag. Then I wagged both of them and I could tell that the dog really liked it. Thanks for the tip!!
As a Swede, I can confirm we all have a Carlson on our roofs.
Surely you mean the Danish Karlson på taget?
Ancient problems require modern adaptations
@@MachivelianBear surely he means Karlsson på taket by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren
@@elijo1904 Surely you mean Swedish as in a region under the greater Danish Kalmar Union? ;)
@@MachivelianBear Yea I think he does mean Sweden which Denmark started wars against but lost the majority of them tally 9/4 (yea I am counting all the wars but still wars started to help allied nations count)
"Are you the sphinx? why are you always talking in riddles?" anyway, the sudden loss of beard is very disturbing. great impression of tucker carlson!

@@calvinandhabs yeah yeah. That's just what you say to excuse his biting.
@@calvinandhabs that has more to do with him wagging their tails 😅
Habs without a beard:
teehehe
As a German i can confirm that this was actually funny.
“If the ham is boiling, don’t tickle the cook.” What the fuck does that even mean? 😂
You know EXACTLY what it means
if the chef is busy in the kitchen don't pull him into the other room and have sex because the ham will overcook.
@@mgntstr How did "another room" enter the calculation?
😮
Don't tickle people who are busy boinling ham
@@juliandacosta6841 I am afraid to ask if "boinling ham" was a typo or an joke
Ruud.
... Van Nistelrooy.
That's an underrated line if I ever saw one.
That triggered so many memories, one of the remarkable players of my childhood....
This just awoke a core memory from my childhood, thanks guys😂
Karlson is also very widely known story in former USSR countries thanks to the books and an animation film. In Russia we have 2 quotes which we use regularly, first "I'm a moderately well-fed man in the prime of life." (Я упитанный мужчина в самом расцвете сил) and second "He flew away but promised to return" (Он улетел, но обещал вернуться!)
Beatutiful. The first expression one also found it's way into German but is a bit obscure, I think most people wouldn't recognize it.
@@marcelldavis4809 Usually it's used by men 30-40 y.old with beer belly. :D
@@marcelldavis4809 The original Swedish sentence is "Jag är en vacker och genomklok och lagom tjock man i mina bästa år."
Translated into "I am a handsome and shrewd and moderately fat man in my prime."
It's a lot more narcissistic, but then again Karlsson is extremely narcissistic.
Didn't know why it was translated in Hungarian, but yeah, I can confirm i and a few childhood friends of mine also knew it
"It was a Swedish story"
"Ah makes sense"
I love that you didn't bleep the German swearing
only americans beep swear words so it's ok, they don't understand
Wow, I grew up with Karlsson på taket (On the roof). Mixing In Carlson was hilarious
Didn't know Germans knew of it. But I guess Astrid Lindgren has a lot of international appeal elsewhere so why not Karlsson?
@@0xCAFEF00D not German, so I was surprised about that too
@@0xCAFEF00D Every properly raised german child knows Astrid Lindgren's stories. Well maybe not all of them but Pippi Långstrump, Kalle Blomkvist, Bullybyn, Tomten, Madicken, Emil Lönneberga, Bröderna Lejonhjärta, and Ronja are all extremely well known. (Although not all under those original swedish names)
@@0xCAFEF00D Germans also find Sweden a bit exotic. Then again the ties were very strong before Germany started to look like losers in the war. Since then Sweden has tried to distance itself a lot from Germany and what went on in Sweden during the war.
1:17 as a dutch person this made me laugh way too loud
Jaa p

"Ey fick dich alda" lol
I have a suspicion Germans communicate entirely through Darmok and Jalad on the Ocean.
As a German American I can assure you.....we 100% do 😂😂😂
and as another german, Temba, his arms wide
Darmok and Jalad at Tenagra.
When the walls fell
His eyes open!
And now Tucker Carlson makes so much more sense.
I remember my father reading Karlsson vom Dach to me and my sisters, and he never got through a chapter without crying from laughing so hard
"Ruud...
van Nistelrooy"
That is when you got me guys! 😂😂
Astrid would have been proud of your adaptation.
RUUD ... Van Nistelrooy hahaha😂😅 Carlson on the roof, squeeling like cartman was comedic gold! Please create more with this character! 😂🎉❤
Tucker Carlson has been tormenting my neighborhood since his firing
He tormented the whole country beforehand.
Used to always watch the old Soviet movie “Junior and Karlsen.” Was so shocked to discover it was based on a Swedish story. Glad to know other Europeans know the story as well
Sovjet did help to make many of the films of the works of Astrid Lindgren.
Didn't they help with mio min mio?
@@Leghend yes they did and funny enough thats was Cristian bales secound movie.
@@ThePapaja1996 yes, and Crishtopher Lee as Kato
The beard was sacrificed!
This is one of your best, awesome acting!
Karlsson, Karlsson, världens bästa Karlsson!
Ruuuuuuuud (Van Nistelrooy).
Love it!
😂😂
Karlsson is not a little boy, but a grown man with absolutely no regards for anyone but himself. Compared to other Astrid Lindgren characters, that unpleasantness didn’t work as well in Sweden, so his biggest popularity came in the Soviet Union. My amateur guess is that it resonated because it provided a shared story about an obnoxious dictator without any obvious way for the stories to be interpreted as political.
I think it was because of the cartoon. The characters in soviet cartoons are quite different from how they are portrayed in other countries (for example, winnie the pooh is very different from disney's version). Also i don't remember Carlson being totalitarian or mean, rather fun and irresponsible, but I haven't watched the cartoon in a while. I think a connection between Carlson and Stalin (or some other soviet leaders) would be a huuuge stretch
@@feorge4972 In a way, that's my point exactly. There is no similarity to persons, more to the self-aggrandising attitude and the "do me this random favour" that Soviet citizens had come to expect - and maneuver - in their daily life.
I gave both of you likes because I find the discussion interesting. I have a friend from Russia and she also knew Karlsson and it was this whole thing somehow and I didn‘t understand how that came to be. As a german, I was raised with pretty much every Astrid Lindgren book my parents could find, but this one they somehow didn’t like? Never read it.
It was just a really stellar cartoon and the Karlsson character was very lovable if obnoxious. If anything, the aunt symbolized the oblivious authority figure. I am Russian and I definitely remember the cartoon before I read the book and I barely remember the book - I may have read an excerpt. I went to the Astrid Lindgren museum in Stockholm - they have a lot of dioramas and I was shocked at how bleak and boring/grotesque Karlsson seemed..
I just don't see it at all. Карлсон is neither the antagonist nor the figure of authority in the Soviet cartoons. Фрекен Бок is the unreasonable, harsh disciplinarian and Карлсон is shown to be the puckish trickster antidote to her.
I simply will not accept a Habs without a beard. Fix this or I will be forced to bring the sunglasses out.
Ruud […slurp…] van Nilsterooy 😂😂
Holy shit that was fucking hilarious. Laughed at the Ruud van Nistelrooij and it just balooned from there.
OMG this was amazing. Thank you for all the great sketches!
omg you look so different without the beard
Habs feels exposed
The beard was sacrificed! Well, in the meantime you can fix the whole thing with some round sunglasses, just saying...
Ruud van Nistelrooy 😆 I speak like that with a colleague with a lot of football related words 😂
That van Nistelroy joke killed me lol
Sehr geil! Bin komplett weggebrochen 😂😂😂
Habs no beard: raises gauntlet to snap fingers
Habs with beard: perfectly balanced as all things should be.
Ruud...☕️... Van Nistelrooy😂😂😂😂😂
I'm British and even I read that when I was a kid lol
Now I look back those books were really quite weird
1:14 … Ruud … van Nistelrooy. 😂😂😂 Brilliant!
You destroyed a german's seating arrangement, totally worth the rage :p
All those old stories are giving me nostalgia.
I remember that my favorite story was ,,Hans guck in die Luft‘‘.
Tucker Carlson was a far more malignant demon than Karlson could ever be
Those poles look like scratching posts.
Despite the caption, I didn't see that coming. Really clever tie in!!
Wäre cool wenn ihr mal längere videos machen würdet, feier die videos aber trotzdem🙌
Luv yall and Tucker, what a COMBO!
herrlich
Well that was delightful 😊
I actually remember watching a show about Carlson when I was little
He was called Herra Huu in Finland as weird as loved
Herra Huu-uu-uu
Herra Huu-uu-uu
Luulee et' on kummitus
lasten suuri kauhistus
vaik' on pelkkä turmelus
Ayo the moment he said "Rude" in that accent my first thought was also Van Nistelroy and then he also said it like wtf can he read my mind???
There are a a lot of commonalities between Carlson and Karlsson. They both make a lot of fuss, rage havoc and divert the blame to others. Also shaving the beard. I'm shocked. I'm devastated.
When you scroll down to find a Dani reference
Love the crochet quilt
I would also be terrified to find Tucker Carlson on my roof
Get well quickly!
Wasn't Karlsson a middle-aged man?
Wait why did you say "Van Nistelrooy", the name of Dutch football player as a insult? lmao
Because he said „rude“ right before that.
Maybe it's part of the campaign to stop the dutch from winning the world cup in...what was it...baseball?
@@glockenrein That makes perfect sense holyshit
In Dutch “Ruud” is pronounced “rude” though 😢. But thanks, came to the comments to understand the relation to the Dutch footballer 😂
@@noahg6147 Yes I know, I am Dutch. I just didn't make the link to the first name lol

Alda!!1 🤣🤣
03:28 and I swear I can hear that Tucker on the roof!
Wow. I havn't thought about the Tucker Carlson animated show or movie in almost ten years.
Other European do understand the joke.
Tucker Carlson on the roof is not for children stories though. It's the stuff of nightmares.
can confirm, read one page and couldn’t sleep for a week, scary stuff i tell ya’
Aww snap...we had this in finland when i was growing up.. it's called katto-kassinen ..i believe it comes from sweden to here
I find that if you leave a Danish Carlsberg on the roof you can trick the Swedish Carlson.
Hey guys, quick question; would you mind if I used your videos for my English classes? :D
There is a Russian cartoon based on Carlson who lived on the roof.
Even when messing the roof Habs is german enough to do it gently to not dent the furniture
I hate it when that happens to me.
no way it's the dani game "karlson"
it was actually inspired by a childrens book on Karlsson
The gypsy jazz really brings it all together tbh
1:14 I did not expect that
hach ja karlson vom dach haahaha
Ihr müsst unbedingt ein Video über den ESC machen!!!
Wenn der Schinken kocht, dann kitzle nichr den Koch. 🤔
Is that a Nova comic I spy! Very rare and specific Marvel character!
THE BEARD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Aw your beard was awesome. But I did learn something, you have great skin.
Carlson is son of Carl

What about Max und Moritz or Till Eulenspiegel?
Hi, American here. hhhhhellPP.
My Norwegian wife showed me clips from the TV show after I showed her this clip.
*_beard has left the chat_*
I love how the english "fick" gets censored.
So these two really are just two Americans?
Wait - he never fed his Karlsson!? 💀
Just 18.67 left
that reminds of dani (the game dev youtube) , since he's Norwegian ...........THINGS MAKE SENSE NOW
I am still mentally scared by the movie... Google it. Karlson is terrifying
I'm with you in this. While most stories of Lindgren are in some way scary (just think about Bröderna Lejonhjärta dealing with disease and death at a young age), Karlsson was somewhat special as the character himself was a protagonist. I always was very vary of him, because he was older and bigger than Lillebror and had this glint in his eye I can only describe as dangerous and untrustworthy. Always thought he might just flip and kill Lillebror. A real psycho.
That is one character of Lindgren I never liked and never will. And that says a lot when you think about Emils father constantly beating him (or at least trying to)...
@@rwandaforever6744 imagine being so scared of your own father you sprint to lock yourself in whenever you made a mistake...
Ja Alter!
Ah Karlsson I heard about this story from Dani, the Game Developer and RUclipsr.
Karlsson is that weird singing frog/ gremlin from old looney tunes cartoons minus a dog?
the poor beard 😂
Oh you don’t know who Karlson is? Well…
