I have A LOT of leaves, your video has me wanting the catcher attachment when I get my new Kubota mower this week. Are you still happy with yours, had it held up. Problems?
I have an older BX2200 with a 3 point DR leaf vac...... The DR has its own 9hp engine and pretty good suction and it does the same. Its the deck design. I have found that keeping the deck lower helps. A zero turn is a one trick pony and is probably better at fine manicured lawns and sucking leaves. A tractor is a jack of all trades. It performs many roles and does not do any role as a good as a dedicated machine. I have learned to live with it.
i cannot see spending all of that money on a fancy ridding lawnmower. i find zero turns to be useless. the tractor is more FAR versatile, wont get stuck in wet conditions, burns significantly less fuel, has a diesel engine that should have a much longer life. im quite happy with the tractor, even if it wont do a fancy job cutting grass. i think the tractor should have much better overall durability as well.
Hi. I just installed a similar unit on my zero turn (doesn't have the blower). The issue I'm having is the left bin fills up first, the middle a little and almost nothing in the right bin. Any ideas on how to fix that?
Do not spend the money unless you can justify the costs. I have a Kubota hopper style grass catcher on the ZD1200 zero turn. Ten acres with many pines and oaks. I compost it all. Both machines have been flawless for years. Save the back vertebrae, time and keeps the landscape as the envy of the neighborhood all while sitting on my Kiester. Yes in my case definitely worth the money.
Hey thanks for sharing. Even though my grass catcher set blow leaves out near the right front tire which can be frustrating, I absolutely wouldn’t go without it now. Happy New Year
It looks as though you may have engaged the PTO at a throttle position well above idle? I always engage and disengage the PTO at idle (and do the same with the electric PTO on my zero turn) to reduce wear / shock load on parts. This is also the recommended method from Kubota. I picked up a (barely) used GCK60-26BX last year and am getting it ready for this season - very helpful video!
Do you have the under deck baffle installed?? I have a BX2360 and a BX23S and the one material collection system fits both. The 23S has the baffle and the 2360 don't and the 2360 leaves leaves similar to yours. Actually my son has the 2360 now, but occasionally we need both like when we chip branches.
If the deck is lower it won’t be an issue When I first got my bx261 with the gcd600 collector I sometimes notices leaves getting thrown out, lowered the deck a little more and it was perfectly fine again
Thanks for sharing. I did try lowering the deck but I didn’t see any difference. I also didn’t want to cut the grass to low but I’ll definitely try again in the fall. Thanks again for the tip.
It’s been some time now you made this video, have you modified anything to make the mower stop throwing out all that stuff? First year with my more. I have a little different setup than you but the same problem. I also mow the same way you do to get everything picked up. And I was going to use a mud flap to see if I could deflect more of it back into the mower.
I didn’t do any modifications to the mower deck. I ended up selling the tractor. The bagger wouldn’t fit my new tractor so I sold the bagger but I did plan on adding a mud flap or something like your idea. I definitely think it would help. It was so annoying. Thanks for watching and I hope you get it figured out. Happy Thanksgiving
Nah I'm wondering why you keep complaining about that simple problem you claim to have and laughing and joking about it at the same time Be happy with it Some people can't afford to have what we have
Yes, This does look like it would be worth it to me too, Thank You so much for sharing 👍🏼👍🏼
Feeling a lil glum today. Your vids always pick me up. Thanks!
I hope you feel better Chuck. Always good hearing from ya.

Nice property! Love all the hardwoods. They sure are beautiful this time of year. :)
Hey thanks my friend. How’s the weather up there?
@@OneLonelyPlumber Judging from the tree color we are pretty much on par with you :) Nice fall weather!
Oh nice, beautiful time of year for sure

Your not supposed to with the PTO bagger. As your spinning up two different PTOs so engage at higher RPM

I do have a baffle which is so weird. It’s definitely frustrating that’s for sure.

Thanks for the reply.
Happy Thanksgiving back.
Man, that mower's fast!! 😆
lol
Try lowering the deck, might take care of the leaf problem.
I just hate to cut the grass to short but I think it would be something I’ll try just to see if it helps. Thanks for the tip. Have a great weekend

see if the decks nose (front)can be lowered
so to speak it may be that the rear is lower than the front of it?
You have problems.
