I love the depths of how awful you have to make the play experience to get the most points, like that'd be so fucked up if you were playing an MMO, saw a cool portal and it's literally just there to teleport you to an empty room that you have to leave, all just to waste your time.
i love the dumb ingame lore explanation of why that is the objective too lol, i think it's literally like "we want to frustrate and annoy the players as much as possible so they buy tickets to skip the dungeon"
18:19 gave me a horrifiying idea. Due to the absurd max portals couldnt you make a portal maze where you have to go through all of them in order to escape. Youd need a wall to do it but it would be so horrifying.
11:11 This might work if you put a wall between the traps. Each trap is open only for a split second, but the reason the asynchronous stuff dosen't work is because the wizard can wait in between the traps. Adding a wall in means the wizard needs to hop off one bunny strifht onto another, and has to wait for a window when their paths line up.

In theory you can place 256 portals, but there’s only 49 squares in a dungeon so you never hit the limit

the teleporters being linked by what eights of the borders are on or off
its the same as binary 8 bit
there are 256 possible teleporter pairings
which mean the total portal amount caps at 512

I have crazy ideas with portals
This game desperately needs locked doors and keys of different sorts
i saw their trailer on steam. They have some different keys and a lot other stuff that is not presented here
that's basically the same as buttons and spike thingies so add the stuff from i wanna lockpick, like negative and imaginary keys
The final game is going to have both of those
