I am truly awakening and blessed to have found you. My journey in this moment is powerful. It will lead me to your feet where I can master this gift of now. Until then I will continue to practice the nowness of what' is. Wonderful blessings of white light sent your way x
@julieprince5538 Thankful this is working for me when my mind takes over. To concentrate the on the breath going in and out of abdomen and on the end of the nose to feel less tired, back and forth is very effective. Keeping this handy to practice more. Thank you to ascended Master Thich Nhat Hahn beyond the thin veil, for the gift to learn to quiet our minds, needed most of all.
So many comments here that show how grateful we all are for the effect of Thay's teachings in all of our lives. Thank you so much to this dear teacher who has spent so much of his time here making the world a better place. Let's do our very best in our small ways to be a continuation for him. Thank you, Plum Village, for making this available to us.
Thank you Susan for offering me/us the opportunity to feel gratitude. Being grateful is a practice I started relatively late in life. And I’m still learning to expand the limits I impose on how grateful I can be, for how many things, and how long! 😄😉 You showed me I could stretch my gratitude, make it bigger, longer, include more! 🎉
It is completely master peace, combining different technics of mindful breathing by ancient Buddhist monk , mazing avasome endless gratitude definitions for his life legacy. Blessings from the meditation is unspeakable. Sathu Sathu Sathu
In what way ? I suffer from constant discomfort in my bladder since a year after a traumatic event, I have anxiety and fear, can this meditation help me to heal ?
40 years ago, we sponsored 3 vietnamese boat people in New Orleans in part because of Thay's writing. Met him briefly in CO. Hearing his voice is a blessing.
Such a great powerful meditation. I only follow it for one week and today I experienced a glimpse of the wonderful feeling I love myself - I am still crying out of thankfulness to Thay for this moment. Thank you.
Present moment with Thay helping me let go. Freedom. Bless you cloud Thay and his loved ones that capture and share his lessons to us one breath at a time.
With eyes closed I felt he was behind me, in the room, and so I must not be surprised and jump at the sudden voice coming in between the long silences. Alert awareness, present moment, wonderful moment. ❤
Благодарю за глубокое погружение в Настоящий Момент! Вдох и выдох - это то, как жизнь течет через нас. Мы дышим Жизнью, мы дышим Любовью, мы дышим Покоем.
I learnt about Dear Thay’s teachings at the beginning of a severe illness 4 years ago. His book “Peace is Every Step” learnt me "everything" back then. I am forever grateful for all your teaching, books, talks, meditations, movie and more. I carry goodwill in my heart always for Thay, his health and everyone at Plum Village!
Thank you so much to the Master! This is a amazing meditation! Deep, Slow, Calm, Ease, Smile, Release, Present Moment, Wonderful Moment! I have been practicing this many times, I smile, calm and release! I am forever grateful!💞
Hello to the Plum Village. I come back to this particular meditation over and over again. It has become very meaningful to me and is now my favorite meditation. But I am having a hard time understanding what he says about the present moment in the last part of the meditation. He begins to explain how good it will be for those who say it a lot. But I have played it many times and just can’t understand what he is saying. That part begins at 30.00 on the video. Also, is there a book he has written where he put these “thoughts” to think during meditation? That would be very helpful as sometimes I have a hard time discerning what he says because of his accent. I have been on my own trying to learn to meditate and Thich Nhat Hanh has been the most helpful out of all of the books and videos I have gone through. I am hoping to take classes after my surgery. I have been waiting a long time to do so. I just discovered a sangha in the next city who uses Thich Nhat Hanh’s philosophy, which makes me very happy. Thanks for sharing so much of his meditations and talks here on RUclips.
Sherry Hsu, I have 2 more questions. I don’t usually go on Twitter or any of the social networking sites. However, this afternoon I went onto Twitter in order to write a letter to someone. Then I checked to see if Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay) is also on Twitter. It looks like everyone in the world is. But I see that Thay recently was able to go back home to Vietnam. Will he be there now permanently? And can you tell me why he’s in a wheelchair?
@@ApproximatelyCee Thầy is currently is not feeling well and staying at a temple in Huế, Việt Nam. Wish you peace with the practice and continue to follow Thầy's teaching.
I'm no expert but what I understand is, the words are there for a bridge.... between the usual state of a mind too full of words, towards a mind that is free of words.
Excuse me. In the first part of this audio, I can understand this part: "Dear friends. If you are thinking a lot, focus your attention to your a-------." what is this word that start with a? thank you much for help!

Should you say the words (in/out) in your mind while you are breathing or should you just be mindful on your breath? How is this done correctly?

What is the meaning of the bell? Why is it “woken”? Why “invited to sound fully”? Why used at all?
Why you have an alarm when you go to sleep?
Y en español? Donde puedo encontrar la traducción? Graciass
