Correction: 32:06 I found the Terrormorph! ruclips.net/video/DiMzpkOaU7o/видео.html
Was about to say...I spent 6 hrs on that moon and capped off lots of memorable exploration with a terrormorph encounter. :)
I will be here for every single video of these, im so excited for starfield lore videos
I think you speak for all of us
Agreed. New lore videos to fall asleep to for me
"One day while minding your own business."
So consistent...
"...and hunting down a band of space pirates on a remote moon..."
Then boom xeno monstrosities
This one time, at space camp…
Ox doing what ox does best, putting all of the details together, and bringing back the art of oral history.
I exploredKreet first before even entering the facility... And boy, you can find a terrormorph out there! A true bullet sponge!
I figured there was one of em out there which is why I didn't explore Kreet too much😅
Thems good eating
Can confirm. Found it fighting ecliptic,
Took over a thousand rounds to kill it.
@@DarkAngel69604sounds about on par with the first Deathclaw in fallout 4.
I think the terrormorphs are random encounters as I've found two that were tied to random POIs.
FYI - The Terrormorph IS still on Kreet. You need to wander around a bit, but eventually you run across a random encounter with the Terrormorph attacking some NPC's (it's a truly horrifying abomination of a creature, that is really difficult for a low level payer - Thankfully you can let Vasco tank it for you)
I found it by the bridge thing. Fallen tower...
It's in a different spot everytime.
I found it on two different characters outside the cave near the outpost
Found it at level 3 fighting a couple of elliptical. Flukily it kill one and i found a place it couldn't actually get me but in range of my cutter. So fluked killing one at that level then ran like mad to get away from the other elliptical (ungrateful b'stard)
Yes!! I was looking for this comment. I first found it when i was level 2 and it really caught me by surprise on Kreet.
Yayyy glad to see you doing Starfield lore vids. I love the game so far, but the lore hasn't captured me at all. Perhaps I've been too busy trying to digest all the crazy amounts of.content and gameplay options. The game truly is massive.
I’m thrilled your doing star field lore! I just left this facility the last time I played.😊
Wasn't expecting a lore video so soon! Hats off to you for repurposing the live stream and putting together a lore video that's as detailed and enjoyable as your Fallout videos.
Man, the good times all over again. After hundreds of hours of Fallout 4 videos, now it's time for a new era. Thank you so much for the great content. Starfield lore, here we go!
Whatever a Terrormorph is, although i havent run into one yet, im sure its the "Deathclaw" of this game
Heatleeches are baby terrormorphs
Yep. And at some point you can discover how those killing machines spread across the settled systems.
For those who have experienced The Unity, but do not know this transmission method; Seek out the UC Vanguard at New Atlantis. And hold on tight because it’s one hell of a ride
I’d like to see you do more lore videos, but only after you’ve completed multiple faction playthroughs of the main quest; it appears the game is really, really designed to be played more than once, with each culture having its own take on the lore; I don’t know if you’ll be able to get the full story on anything until you’ve looked at things from multiple perspectives
14:46 Gonna be honest, the phrase “spared no expense” in sci-fi just has an ominous implication at this point lol
Don’t know jack about Starfield, but if you’re doing lore videos then it’s going to be gold.
I’d love to see a full faction series some day
The Red Devils are a sub-sect of the UC Vanguard. They are specially trained for Xenowarfare. You should play the UC Vanguard storyline. It's amazing and provides a ton of backstory.
they not vanguard vanguard is it own thing and was created after the red devils.
I thought they’re a regiment under the ucmc
These lore videos you did for the Fallout series is what got me to start playing Fallout
i remember meeting the terramorph as a lv-1 character (it being lv 10) that was very fun
Just returned here after 30 hours of playing... man, Bethesdas environmental storytelling will always be top notch, plus... after beating the UC Vanguard questline... I'll never leave a heatleech alive. Thats all I'll say
" tried to be sneaky " with a large clanking tin can following you around or sarah who runs in guns blazing 😪 hoping one of the companions is a stealthy sort
It's so much fun watching you do an area I've already done because it reminds me of how unthorough I am going through it. Keep up the good work!
Oh, also, can you do a video on using digipicks to pick locks?
Ox, did you know that heat leeches are baby terror morphs! So if you look around on the first plant you went to you will find the terror morph!
Adding another "yes, more lore videos please!" to the crowd. Your lore videos are top-notch and thrilled to have you cover Starfield.
To think I binged your fallout 2 and New Vegas Playlist and now this?? Absolutely prime 👌
A classic Oxhorn episode; love it. This was a fun one to discover early in the game. Looking forward to more lore videos. I did find the Terrormorph while exploring a civilian outpost and boy was it a tough fight.
I really want to learn more about this game Ox, you make amazing videos and have been watching you since 2017. Since I'm having trouble with playing the game right now but at least with these I can enjoy learning about the game.
Oh OX. The lore and world building later on... I love this game
1 Terrormorph is on the moon some distance from the base actually, it's right next to a cave entrance which is marked on your HUD as an unknown point of interest, if you keep distance you'll see a small group of spacers stumbling onto it and naturally the Terrormorph makes a snack out of them. It's the first and earliest you can encounter one in the game. With low level weapons it takes a bit of time, a lot of ammo and maneuvering like a mattador to take it down.
Yes! I am so stoked for this! I was hoping you would do a series on Starfield !
Don't know if you found one yet, but just past this facility, still in sight, was a sunken worksite that had a terramorph (Lv 10) and a bunch of dead pirates.
"somehow they spotted me" *heavy ominous thumping from the thousand pound vasco thunders in the halls*
I recognize the voice from various Elder scrolls and fallout vids, so glad your doing Starfield aswel!! You got a epic way of making these, unique and im ❤ it. Thanks a bunch for making these and have a blast out there!!👍🏻🤜🏻
I don't get it. we practically BEGGED him to do a lore series for Mass Effect when he played through that and he would have none of it. "I only do Fallout lore" Then here he is doing Stanfield lore. Chasing a hot trend...or does he just make an exception for Bethesda?
Kreet is where my first outpost is! I just need to put a crew station there.
You know, I know nothi g of starfield but terrormorph does not sound like anything pleasant
Red Devils were a unit of UC Marines native to Mars ... they apparently didn’t let you join until the Martian dust turned your eyes red which took years or decades.
2:22 Uhm, Vasco isn't really stealthy behind you xD
Loot is random, it's rather pointless to mention it.
My last start didn't drop a single spacesuit item from the enemies, until I looted a mechanical spacesuit (+carry capacity, best item in game).
A secret lab with the faction's logo painted all over the place and who's mad science experiment lead to their death.....who are they, Cerberus?
joking aside, i actually DID ran into a Terrormorph on that moon but i think it was just a random encounter than actually story placed tho, like it was a level 10 fight out in the middle of no where.
See this is why I like Bethesda games and I feel like a lot of the people hating on this game try to play it more like destiny instead of a dialogue heavy rpg. There is so much depth to alot of the these places and stories aside from the main quest, I did a activity last night that sucked me in for a complete hour. Literally just an event that happened on my way back to the lodge after a mission (pro tip DONT fast travel everywhere, fly your ship and jump into systems, then select a place to land, if you constantly fast travel you’ll miss alot of the events that can happen in space)
I think the best approach would be: main story first, extra lore after. I know that you do the extra lore first especially if the game is new to not spoil the fun but still...
I found it near the unfinished landing pad/ ship docking platform thing
I think I found it when I was there, it was at a solar array farm, level 10 so I ran...
Awesome, thank you Ox! I have been checking to make sure I don't miss the next livestream, so this was a treat to wake up to!
There is a Terrormorph on Kreet if you go exploring! Not far from the lab I came across a bunch of dead Crimson Pirates that had been totally massacred. Soon after arriving I was then attacked by a very strong Terrormorph and only my jet pack managed to save me.
Such a great storyteller. Bethesda should hire you.
Great to see new lore videos, I guess we can look forward to a few years' worth as we did with FO4 since Starfield seems to be huge. I feel like I've only scratched the surface in this game myself. I caught the livestream for this footage, my first "Ox-stream" and I enjoyed it. So, if you haven't seen one yet, I recommend it, it's a good time. Starfield feels like it's going to be an epic ride.
Man, this games lore and world seems so interesting. Shame I won't be able to play it, since I've only got a Ps5 and a Toaster Laptop.
Xbox Exclusivity =/= Sony Exclusivity. Using Xbox's cloud gaming feature of GamePass, all you need is decent internet and you can play it on your toaster laptop, or even a phone if you want lol.
Really glad to see you do a proper Oxhorn-style Lore Series on Starfield even though i bet it will be a lot of Work because there seem to be quiet a few Side Quests (long ones) that are entirely dependant on your Character Choices and/or Options you picked when making your Character!
Looking forward to it! a Pleasant Surprise!
Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
Found the terrormorph before i ever went to the facility. Up on the mountain by a cave. Took all my med packs and ammo. Was so surprised, then i got background on it in the facilty. Tied it all together nicely. Just finished Kreet and so far the game is GREAT.
I agree with many others. I love your Lore videos Ox, but as a person who has watched many of your streams, and literally ALL of your lore videos, I hate to say that during a stream you’re just not able to pick up on every detail. I’ve seen you play through many games on stream, which I know is different from just playing the game you’ve got to manage chat, check your connection, there are many things to monitor, and so it just happens that you miss a lot.
I can’t wait to see more Lore from you, but I hope you will first play through the game in its entirety before you do.
Even in some of your old Fallout Lore videos there were kind of obvious connections you didn’t make because it was obvious you weren’t extremely familiar with the fallout universe.
During your streams you are (understandably) just not able to pick through places with a fine toothed comb.
I started playing Starfield with a 1060 6GB and a 3300X. I runs suprisingly well but its not pretty. Gotta upgrade next week.
I appreciate stuff like this! I barely have enough time to play the game let alone get lost in the lore.
Thanks 🙏🏽
Please make more lore videos like this one
I hate when people say “this game sucks” yet they’re already 40+ hours in. I swear most people don’t read thru the lore and just don’t understand what’s going on so they come to the conclusion “The game is shallow”…Because they’re too lazy to look thru all the depth lol
The Terrormorph can be found on the moon. I found a small outpost on mine about 500 meters from the lab and while exploring it a Terrormorph attacked. Not sure if it was just a coincidence.
I actually ran into the Terramorph on Kreet, Southeast from the Research Lab. It was attacking random spacers and I intervened. Scared the crap out of me when I heard it's screams.
Very excited. I'm hoping this game has as much interesting content as fallout. Hidden locations and standalone macabre stories
Really? I haven't come across one interesting location outside of the main hubs. It's what disappointed me most about this game so far
@@Creamcups are either super unlucky or haven't looked hard enough lol
I remember exploring that dungeon a few days ago, but since it was late at night I had trouble reading the words. Not that I have vision problems, but it would be nice if they offered a night light mode.
Anyways, thank you for recapping the dungeon, I'm glad I didn't miss anything, but hearing the log entries again in your voice brought a wave of nostalgia from back when I binged your Fallout NV DLC lore videos.
I was able to learn a bit about the treaty of Narion from the quest to join the UC Vanguard, from what I can remember no nation/faction can have more than three star systems with colonies.
Correct me if I’m wrong though.
As soon as this game came out, I came to Oxhorns channel. He never disappoints.
I plan to watch all of oxhorns videos, but I truly hope he has a fundamental understanding of this game before he spits out videos, the same way he has an understanding of fallout lore.
Love your videos! so excited to watch more of these lore videos.
You can find an albino version of the terrormorph. I found it in one of the locations on Krix. Use the scanner. It was in one of the dried up ocean spots fighting 3 pirates. It was level 10 for me. Alreadybon new game plus that run
i found a terrormorph near the lab on the same planet . i have a video killing it haha
"Somehow they spotted me." Giant ass clanky robot looking through the window XD
I will come back and watch these once I finish Starfield for myself.
I was hoping Ox would do Starfield lore videos! And now that he's doing them I'll be tuning in for all of them!
The first journals are 2306 and second are 2307. Only 1 year apart.
yes, the lore series is back! please keep doing these, the thought of playing missions then coming here and watching your lore vids about those missions, gives me comfort lol
Loved this stream. Him reading everything, listening to everything, seeing it all. Checking all the crannies. While other YTubers are flying through and not looking at anything. Cant wait for him to do the robot infested moon colony in Earths moon.
thing is, i like the lore vids. But, watching Ox loot goblin his way through an actual firefight while complaining that he's missing lore is my own personal hell. Also, refusing to use the in universe names and calling everything by fallout names is just weird.
@Nemesisv1.1Hollow and RadBrad do the same. I love watching them play, but for lore stuff Ox is my jam. I love his depth in videos and I don’t mind him taking 2 hours in one location. XD thats the fun of exploring and reading. Playing detective
@@derschwartzadderI think he will get around to calling stuff by their names, but hes just so used to Fallout. I mean he has spent a LONG TIME doing Fallout and its just engraved into his head. I wouldnt be surprised if he’s called pocket change “caps” once or twice.
I hope this doesn't mean you're abandoning your Fallout 4 playthrough.
Ohh i cant wait for your future videos i loved all your Fallout 4 lore videos
The teramorf is still on the moon! At alteast I ran into one there. It had killed a squad of mercs at a special location not too far from the lab.
Abandoned old lab and petshop seem very nice but haunted about creepy planet
I was hoping he started on this already and to my amazement more than what I expected, thank you.
Honestly watching you go through Stairfield is one of the main things I was looking forward to with this game.
Keep it up ox would love to see a full series of this game
I'm so excited to experience all these stories for the first time.
I’m so mixed on this game, been watching little bits of gameplay here and there because I don’t wanna spoil it for myself. But regardless if the game is good or bad. I’ll always be here for some Oxhorn storytelling lore 🙂
How can you be mixed? It looks and plays pretty amazing
Game is great and the writing for quests is awesome
@@skrunklyOwO yah I’m loving it so far! I still play Fallout 4, and I see myself doing the same with Starfield. This is a game we’ll easily be playing for the next decade.
Apparently they just copied Dogmeat's programming into Vasco. He constantly gets in your way, constantly reveals your position when you are trying to be stealthy, constantly jumps in front of you when in battle, etc. 😂
Remember the terrormorph escaped. I found it fighting some varuun about 2 km away, then I finished it off
You can find the Terramorph from that building, it's the invisble type too lvl10. Which was horrifying for a new player like me who decided to explore the first planet.😅
can confirm, you can run into the terramorph on this moon. It ambushed me at a natural site.
Love your lore videos, keep up the good work
I’d absolutely love to see more of these starfield lore videos: something for you to make lore videos on while we wait for the next Fallout game.
Just my feedback as a big fan of your fallout lore videos - it feels kind of rushed, using stream footage and not having the full knowledge of the lore and the things being described like treaties and the xenobiologists (much more info on these from other quests and locations). I’m only saying as your knowledge of all the lore/background on fallout is what makes your videos so great. With trying to rush out Starfield lore 1% into the game, I feel it is inevitable that stuff will be misunderstood, or not included. But I can’t wait to see Starfield lore videos, just hope you take your time like you did with fallout
14:25 - The previous ones were from 2306, you've misread them multiple times, so it's only 1 year later.
Lore for daaaaays. I've been waiting for this. Thanks Ox, you rule man
I've already re upped the game twice and got most skills at plus 2. I raced through skipping all the side crud cos I know Ox has my back with the story and lore.
Just don't waste your time building ships and spending money, cos all that dissapears after the final mission when you re up.
I need you to clear the settlement
Am I the only person that doesn't fire on anything that doesn't attack and doesn't kill anything that flees. Like my moral compass. The same one that I use at work. at home. In public. I use in games. How I act in a game is exactly how I act in real life. Always believed what people do in game is what they would do if no one was watching and there were no enforced laws. How people act in games makes me fear for grid collapse or open war. People out here with the ethics and morals of a rock.
Yassss so hyped for the start of a new oxhorn series
Looks like Oxhorn has YEARS of videos to make again lol. Starfield has been great so far. Glad to see Bethesda return a lot closer to its roots formula that granted them so much success. 500k streamers and it’s still early access? Yeah this game is going to EXPLODE. Pretty awesome story so far, combat is DAMNA GOOD IN THIS GAME, open worlds etc etc. I’m going to loose my job lmfao jk.
Leave it to Oxhorn to make the first and likely only Starfield video I have enojyed watching. Salute.
If you're gonna do location lore videos, are you gonna do 'unique named' locations only or all 'random dungeons' as well ? Because all the same 'abandoned robotic / bionic / whatever ' , if the same one, have the same lore at the same places, the only thing that changes are the enemies and whatever loot there is anywhere (within limits, foodstuff within logical places, clothes within logical places etc. ).
So it's viable to do one for each type of random dungeon, but you should bring various companions to have them react to the various locations, because atleast Sarah Morgan says something at specific places in various (Like commenting on how a corpse got into a specific trash bin or various comments on the location itself)
Oh and, i've killed two terrormorphs (one location based and one 'locationeventbased', but the first one might've been scripted because the planet probably was handcrafted) and have info that a scripted one will appear in a specific quest.
There’s a coms station not far from the main lab by a cave in my play through that had one patrolling it was way over leveld for me to deal with but I managed to bait it into fighting vasco and some ecliptic mercs to help tank a chunk of its health
Pretty quick on the draw on the complete story vid lol Game’s not even on every platform, yet 😜
Neat video - always love hearing you read terminals 🐰🍷
Doesn’t seem to be a very deep game, though. Not a lot of context for this. I know nothing about much of any of Starfield.
At least there’s healing… paste 🤷♂️
🖖🐰🍷
Thank you for answering the question about the scientist in the beginning of the video. I made a RUclips short asking what happened to him?
To the West of the facility is an abandoned hanger facility that was likely used by the marines and Red Devils during Petshop's hay day. Now it is a base from Ecliptic mercs. Good loots if you head that way but I wasn't hunting mercs nor loot. I was avenging a wrong. The Xenowarfare program had been an error and a black eye on the proud history of the UC and as an inaugural founding father of the TMD I had a personal stake in this mission. My organization, my career, it all was genesis by this attack. It could not go unanswered. Moving North by Northwest I came upon more military infrastructure. But the roars and sounds of gunfire along with the presence of alien secretions permeating the structure told me I had found the larder. Moving up to the platform I beheld my quarry, powerful, resolute, furiously engaged with two Varuun zealots. I held my squad, let the fanatics take their piece before inevitably the alpha triumphed. As with a roar and fury he turned to me, but too late as my minigun, already spun up delivered the hot justice it had spent the last two decades defying. Tore it apart and by closing this chapter official opened the TMD for business. Now I search the galaxy. Where predators roam, they will find themselves prey. - Captain Jackson Vega, TMD
Awesome, can’t wait to listen to this as I play! game is expansive so far, and I really enjoyed your play through stream!!! Keep up the awesome work man, you are a gift
