Thank you for the review. I purchased the UM MEST MKII (customs) solely off you’re recommendation, and has since been my favorite IEM, right next to the 64 Audio Trio. My experience with the IE300 was having me hope that the 600 would address some of the issues. Like you, I noticed that although the bass was very generous (especially so in the 300), that percussion lacked the firm edge that is needed for realism. Do you know of a set of earbuds that convey this realistic attack? (few things make you feel like you are seeing live music like the crack of a snare, or the skin tone of a kick drum!)
Those percussion attacks are attributed to the balance between lower midband (body sound) and the region just above the upper midband (aka the snap, crackle and pop region) around 2-4 KHz. The IE300 and IE900 are tilted downwards in this regard, so the body sound sort of masks the attack. The IE600, at least on paper, solves this issue.

Which means I need to get the next one on my list, the 900. My only hesitation has been the fact that my ears are very sensitive to treble spikes. I've always preferred the upper registers to play like honey. When I was working an audiophile shop, I always looked to the "british sound" in the ones I would demo for customers. They usually found them unimpressive, because they had firm bass and rolled treble. But I'd say, "sit in front of them for 2 hours, with a glass of scotch, and see how you feel". This, Dunu Zen (perhaps the pro), or campfire audio dorado 2020 for your preferences?
I just listened to the Dorado 2020 last night, after listening to the IE600 for a few days. Fiio M11 Plus, FLAC files, using the balanced cable for the IE600, using a 3.5mm super smoky litz cable for the Dorado.
The IE600 has way louder/clearer highs. Took some time to readjust to the Dorado's sound. The highs are there, not veiled, just lower in volume I guess. Kinda like Audeze LCD-X, the highs are there, just not as forward.
I don't know if I prefer one over the other, at this point. Both are made very well, and sound great to me.
I like IEM's for mobility, so I don't judge them with my headphone amp and CD player. I usually use the IFI Blu, and the Sennheiser's sound great with that.
What software are u using there?
I thought the dogs were outside my window. I'm going to buy these drivers thanks for the ranking list z I don't care about the technology, I just want the best sound experience within my value price range < $1,000
How is this comparable to HD6XX?
IEM cannot compete with TOTL headphones. Oh the HD6XX...IE600 has better slam and res
Because the 600 is not personally tuned there is a greater chance for manufacturing variations in the sound.
In the video, you asked if the replacement tips are available. In the US I found them for about $45 including shipping (3 pairs). However, I found them from Great Britain for under $26 shipped to the US. In both cases from authorized dealers.
Lol. Between those gloves and your sweatshirt, it looks like you're prepared to handle bees. Were you about to go out and smoke the hives or something?
That's an Oakley trainer top made for holding in sweat to lose water fast. I use it when I hit the heavy bag. Bees? Where? COME AT ME BROOOOOOOO!
How is it compared to shure aonic 4?
Olina, Dark Magician or IE600?
I hope you're doing well!!
Thanks Diminishing returns and "Gilding the Lily" come to mind. Olina is damn good. The DM is closer in price and will be a set I compare.
@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews I already knew the answer 😂
Olina has closed the gap, it is what it is.
Thanx for replying!!
Ie600 vs xenns up they’re the same price !
I'd have to compare. Man, 700 for a DD
@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews we’re waiting 🙃
@T2 Treasury nahh xenns up has way more going for it besides comfort
@T2 Treasury trust me you’re gonna love it just remember it needs some power
@FahadAlGraini any update impressions on your xenns up?
ie600 and ie800s which one do you think is better?
obviously the latter
dose anyone receive the ie600 box without the original unique QR code on back side?
It’s good but for solo piano (classical) it sounds too thin, detailed but thin.
HELP! I just got the ie 900 and I have the ie 600 coming tomorrow. Should i keep both? Or return the ie 900? Or keep the 900 and send back the 600? Idk what to do! The 900 has three resonating chambers while the 600 has 2 but how it can sound better than the 900!
I'd return 900 and keep the 600
Did you try both and how the sounds compare? Am planning to buy and am confused same as you.
If you like EQ'ing for certain playlists and listen to a lot of different music, than IE 900. Otherwise 600.
I don't know which to get. This or the Shure se846😫😆
The sure 846 are yuk
Go and buy IE 600 (I got IE 900 they are so special...that it is possible, you do not need them anyway) :-)
What’s in the black box to the left of the Topping? A new wireless set?
Powerbeats pro for training. Need those big earhooks
What’s that music software u play from?
Jriver
What's with the gloves 😳
vs FH9?
This is a more natural playback than FH9.
Buy this or your Kinda Lava edition of the EJ07m?
Kinda LAVA
Didn't know Sennheiser made IEMs! Also regarding ding the DQ6S refund... Yeah, not happening! Screw KZ! I'm gonna buy some Etymotic ER2XR.
I think KZ is actually doing a refund.
@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews Not for me at least, I've been chatting with them on aliexpress for the past few days and they barely answer
@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews true. Got my refund yesterday.

KZ be like driver count matters 🤣
Change ure tips maybe bro
I'd rather get a OH10 or Timeless or Kato and EQ to exactly how I like it.
Or even a Mele.
That little 7mm xwb driver is a beast, really impressed me on the 300. Impressed me so hard to return them and throw more money at it to get the 600...
timeless has trash tier comfort
Mmnnnnnn
