"Ahoy, me hearties."
With a completely toneless delivery, like the announcer is doing his 500th repetition of a soap commercial.
That's hilarious.
Hilarious =D
“Sail into theatres for a swashbuckling good time.”
You want enthusiasm out of a computerized narration?
I've always loved the color of this era of film. I think there might be just a tad too much noise / damage. These are fantastic, I can watch them all day.
That's because you're nostalgic about the past,
And It's actually the tone of the visuals or the color tone, not exactly the "color"
Come on man. Give the film a break. It's over 70 years old!
Too much noise? More like not enough noise. Most movies back then didn't even have music in it. Just dialogue against the deaf background.
@@mattconway8851 Movies in the 50's had music and sound, you must be thinking of the silent movies from the 20's.
I concur. I love the old Elvis films and many of that era cause of the techni-color. The colors just POP much like they do with the 66 Batman t.v. series.
The cinematography is beautiful
It’s AI FYI.
0:42. That cannon straight towards the main mast... 😂😂😂
yeah that was funny. I guess AI needs some common sense.
@@cbbgenki4315 You mean, "Cannon sense"?
I love the bendy swords.
Oddly enough, as I watched some of the other Panavision videos, I thought Pirates of the Caribbean would be perfect to see in this format. And low and behold, it is.
Lies again? Panasonic Slow USD SGD
Lo*
Maybe not the spaghetti western Morricone mid 60s soundtrack.
0:44 I feel like there may be a flaw or two to having 4 cannons on the deck facing fore… especially when one of them is facing your own mast 😂
Or the sword turning into the dudes clothing at 0:58 lol
That was the scuttle cannon
Well... that would be Turner's idea
0:06 Ah yes, the origins of the moon walk
hahaha... true 😆
lol I am glad someome pointed it haha
Independence or death - Dom Pedro l Brazil
😂
This looks like a cross between Pirates and Fear & Loathing!!! Love this!!
The skeletons @0:33 really look like the ones from old photos of when the ride was first opened to the public - they also have a Ray Harryhausen look to them too.
Masterpiece...
These are films in this aspect that must be made in the old school style.... Visually stunning with richness of color...
There’s definitely an x-factor to that old movie color. It has way more impact and made the worlds in those films even more vibrant than real life or modern movies.
That's technicolor for you.
In a few years the kinks will be worked out and we'll be watching the full version....
I think Pirates of the Caribbean would make more of a 1930s film. That seems to be when the swashbuckling genre was at its most popular, with screen heartthrobs like Errol Flynn and Clark Gable.
And Flynn would have played Jack
Something amazing about the chimp’s expressions at 0:49. Like he was about to speak English. Like the most hyper realistic cartoon. Wonderful work on these vids, thank you!
Dunno about the cannons firing down the ships own deck!
This gives me Swiss Family Robinson movie vibes
This is actually really beautiful!
If they reboot pirates of the Caribbean, hopefully with a surprise, like this visual style!
Fans will be able make a full feature film like this in 2 years with just their computer and hollywood will be even more butthurt than they are now.
@@PM-jl6pp
Maybe yes, If they don't have the courage for a new optic!
If pirates of the caribbean were made in the 1950s, it would probably have Errol Flynn in a lead role
Come to think - Errol Flynn in a POTC movie would be so, so good.
Greg Peck? Some of the other 50s Swashbucklers? Alan Hale popping up?
Ray Harryhausen doing the Skeletal Pirate effects? That would be really, really neat...
Wow!!! It looks like a dream!!! It's beautiful!!!
This original movie was so good they made a ride about it!
The other way around boy🤦🏿♀🤦🏿♀
@@colors6692Shh!
@@colors6692 bro it's a joke
the narration is just soo good
I like how three-dimensional the pictures look.
I'm absolutely in love with these trailers.😂
I’d love to see Raiders of the lost ark in this style.
I watched too many of these and now it has messed up the way my brain processes my dreams.
This would still be better than the proposed reboot from Disney, without Depp I won't go see it.
И это правильно. Джонни Депп самый лучший человек в мире. И это его фильм
Barbossa looking tuff
Im just imagining the battle scenes with 100% practical effects and hundreds of extras on screen.
Makes me want to go back and watch Horatio Hornblower and a bunch of the other 1950's high seas adventure movies!
Thought the exact same thing. I've been looking for a streaming service that carries Horatio Hornblower.
@@Indylimburg Fortuantely I own Hornblower on DVD! Read the books in highschool and for some reason thought they were historical! I was VERY disapointed to find out that Horatio Hornblower wasn't a real person!
love that barbossa just looks like triple H
This looks exactly as if it had been made by someone like the great George Pal, or the equally great Byron Haskin. The colour palette is spot on, and the effects are similar to those of the frankly awesome Wah Chang. You obviously know your stuff, and it shows. Thank you. 👍👍👍
This is... beautiful!
It’s interesting that Ai has access to infinite video clips to study people and animation, and yet it still can’t animate people. If they’re not staring with minimal movement it can’t do it.
That's facts, I'm glad someone gets it rage against the machine but it's a good tool for drafting story boards.
I've watched a few of these now and aside from the interesting results, I keep associating the narration voice with the phrase "Eric is Bananaman!" 😆
😄 The Tim Brooke-Taylor voice avatar
It's amazing how much we think alike
the opening two shots of all those ships on the choppy sea were breathtaking
Disney just found their next era of films
Love it!
the surf-rock music...
So good - seeing a lot of copies coming online, but these are the best.
Thank you for adding the info about the music!
I can't wait to see the Star Wars trailer appear in this series.
I wish somebody would make a movie that looks like these 1950s 1980s movie memes
Just watch movies from those eras
The colour 🥂🍾
Now that would be a great version of that film.
These are great
Just watched this trailer and now want to rewatch full cycle of "The Pirates of the Caribbean" 😂
I'll start this today's evening 😅
Now this is waaay more faithful to the original ride than anything Johnny Depp has been in
I would like cinema to return a bit to this style :) please do more of these ☺💖👍👍👍
Me too.... I think Quentin Tarantino's and James Gunn's movies sometimes resemble these things from times past.
That was great!
amazing
Amazing🎉
"Arrgh!" 💎💍 🪙⚰ 🏝 🏴☠️ ☠️ 🦜
In would LOVE to see this movie!!
The color matches Disney's Treasure Island (Which was filmed in the 1950's) and it would have been cool if this was a follow-up movie to it way back then.
amazing work!
This recalls an era when high seas adventures were all too common.
I’m about to watch this trailer for the first time
0:55 Calipso and DavidJhones looks Awesome
Awesome
This is cool
good talent un saludo desde Perú
A pirate movie with western soundtrack.
I swear...I thought there was a real Pirates of the caribean shot 1950....and I loved the old style....all was KI :;D
I bet Jack has six fingers in this one 😂
Much better than other AI commercials. Just a few flaws which I'm sure will be gone in future iteration of AI tools
00:27 even AI knows Jack is in lovebwoth Elizabeth 😂
Excelente
Oh the wonders of AI, this kinda reminds me of The Buccaneer with Yul Brynner
So AI associates 17th century maritime history with mid 20th century surf rock and spaghetti western sound tracks....I guess we're still in the early development stages.
These woman are beautiful....
Jack will definitely be giving them a donation!
1950/ super pans is on looks stunning
This looks better and more interesting than the actual films
Love this!!!! 🤭🤣
Ahh I was looking forward to seeing my man Norrington in Panavision....sad days :(
Lol if this doesn’t put me in mind of Harryhausen sinbad films
More please!
Sail into theaters for squash buckling good time
Very period accurate. Even has a guy doing blackface @ 0:40. lol
Not to forget the whitewashed Tia Dalma. LOL
I hope to see the SORA version !
I'm waiting for you to produce a full length motion picture!
Pretty good, Matey. 😉
I WOULD WATCH THIS MOVIE
I'd watch it
Didn't discover any major differences between this classic original and the remake from 2000's.
Spaghetti Westerns are like this
It doesn't look so bad for a Panavision film. This would've been quite popular around the 40's/50's.
We'll be getting full AI movies in 5 years I bet
Monkey companion killed me
I must know how these are done. a whole film please.
Please do Dracula! Based on the one with Gary Oldman!
Dude! Jack looks Sri Lankan in this one. Kidding aside, this one is teh best one this week. AI does better job with closeups compared to groups of ppl. For some reason ppl keep walking backwards. AI is just working with data provided, I guess.
If they made a POTC Movie from 67 I would want it to have Jay Silverheels as CJS Audrey Hepburn As Elizabeth Swann Davy Jones from Monkees as Davy Jones Peter Ustinov as Blackbeard
0:56 beautiful
I can already imagine the skeletons fight in claymation
Okay I actually would rather this was the reboot lol.
The ride version of Pirates of the Caribbean premiered at Disneyland in 1967, so if Walt Disney had lived longer, a movie like this might have been made.
Also, the queue music is somewhat similar to that used in this trailer. ruclips.net/video/ZPWt4UCemEQ/видео.html
It's better than modern day CGI crap in the movies)
Yo ho, yo ho a pirate's life for me
We pilage plunder, we riffle and loot
Drink up me hearties, yo ho
We kidnap and ravage and don't give hoot
Drink up me hearties yo ho
Yo ho, yo ho a pirate's life for me
Every face that’s shown looks like someone from an old 1950’s movie. That’s the genius! The color palette, the costumes, the background action all add to it.
But every face looks like someone in a 1950’s movie.
Thank you!
