    I've paired Flair58 with Varia VS3 and I have to say, I'm getting such amazing shots! Pretty good setup for not that much money
    One thing: the included basket is a bit small - I believe it depends on the roast of your coffee but max I could fit there is about 16g
    Apart form this - an amazing machine! Well done!

    Just received my Flair 58+. It is really enjoyable pulling shots with it. The workflow and the cleaning are so much easier compared to the Flair Pro 2 I used to have. The plus model has some improvement/refinement compared the 58/58x models. Love it!

    The upgraded flair 58 sounds just like I need it now. I've had the Neo for 2 years, upgraded it with pressure valve and real espresso basket, but I feel I've outgrown the little one.
    I'm living in Germany and I'm looking for buying the new flair 58 here in your partner shop. Do they already start selling the new generation in Europe or is it only u.s. right now?

    I'm interested in exploring longer shots, specifically Scott Rao's Allongé that calls for 1:4 - 1:5 ratios. Would those profiles be possible given the liquid capacity of the chamber? Curios what is the longer ratios you at Flair were able to experiment with? Thanks!

    Im new to this coffee setup, so if i buy this stuff, and i dont want to use that electronic "stuff" , do i just need to boil my water until i get the desired temprature, and just pour that boiled water into the head just like in the video and push the lever down?

    Or if the Classic will be abit more reasonably priced in Europe?

    Quite interested in the Flair 58, though I recall some reviews calling into question the quality of the wood accents. I know the 58+ has walnut, which certainly is a step up, but have the 58 and 58x wooden accents been updated following the prior reviews?

      2023 models with single slot plunger do not require you to reposition and therefore do not come with a key. If you have a two slot plunger, reach out to your reseller to get a key

    Pretty bothered that the portafilter funnel (+$24) isn't included by default when it's pretty clearly an integral part of the everyday use of the machine so you don't get grounds everywhere. It's just being used as a cash grab by Flair by not including it by default. Even the flair pro 2 has a basket funnel included by default. Disappointed in their apple mentality/cash grab approach.

    • @psycho_chef
      @psycho_chef 4 месяца назад +2

      Not everyone uses one, lots of people like me use the Niche Zero grinder which has a dosing cup to transfer grounds directly into the portafilter, no funnel needed

      You have to spend multiple thousands of dollars to get a machine that can pull shots of similar quality with pressure profiling....Lelit Bianca for example.

      only if you dont like making coffee. the difference is like getting a nice saucepan vs an instant pot. if you dont want to cook, you can just throw everything in the instant pot and eat whatever comes out, not bad and i do it all the time. but in a restaurant, no one is going to use instant pot for everything. they need the control of the standalone tool. the benefit of manual is control of flow, pressure, everything at the tip of your finger. and the only downside so far was the preheating, which this 58x helps mitigate.
