- We rode our horse and mule down a deep desert canyon looking for a mine. To our surprise the ride would be much harder than anticipated!

You should toss some dirt or sand depending where you are on the ice before crossing.......natural traction
Well this is the first I’ve never seen a mule ice skate. Y’all have some great editing your videos are perfection.
I love your videos and the confidence you show in your mules and your riding ability! I'll have to say that when you were crossing that ice the pucker factor was pretty high. We had a horse slip on ice a few years ago and crack her pelvis. The vet said that a cracked/ broken pelvis is the number 1 winter injury for horses. If a leg slips out from under them to the side something bad is going to happen, their legs are not meant to do that. Anyway I'm glad everyone was safe.
Those drawings wouldn't be Navajo. They are much older than that. Probably from the Fremont civilization. Possibly even Anasazzi . A few miles to the north of you guys is a very famous collection of drawings in Nine Mile Canyon. South of Duchesne/Roosevelt , north of Price/Wellington Utah. I have only been there from the Duchesne County side , but I know the road goes all the way through to the Carbon County side. In fact I think part of Nine Mile Canyon is in Carbon County.
Lots and lots of history in Utah. This area was known to be frequented by Butch Cassidy. The ranch at the bottom of the canyon still has a log cabin with bullet holes from a shoot-out that I think involved Butch Cassidy.
🤔🤔🤔. AND I was going to say this was maybe your best editing yet. Hats off to the wife who needs to continue editing and then maybe there will be more videos in future. Just saying when ya got something this good WHY not keep sharing cus ya have amazing content and great personalities. Always great videos and amazing footage just want more. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Well what can I say this video was unbelievable I still find it amazing where the mules will go.I have seen paintings like those when I was over a couple of years ago in the Canyon De Chelly buts that is about all I know great country does not look as if I will get back so its great that i get to see more of your country by watching your videos stay safe
I have never ridden a mule before but, that would be my go to for most of the terrain they do.
I couldn’t help laughing at that mule crossing. He looked just like bambi!! What a good mule!!
The writing on the wall is tradition to the Navaho people. After something special happens or something memorialable the draw or write on the wall to look back at and keep on there timelines which can go for miles on the rock walls
Frrjdvj
Cowboys that mule crossing that river was outstanding.
the truck slowly going into the ice was kinda funny 😂
Really enjoy your videos but taking that mule across that ice was sketchy. I was thinking fractured pelvis. Yikes!
Sweet video one of your best
Love my mule and want another one.. Jasper just turned 21
When they cross the ice “DUM WAYS TO
DIE SO MANY DUM WAYS TO DIE”
Two things. Where is that in the swell? Also looks like you know the area way better then me. Is there a good place you know if I could take my mule teams and covered wagon?
Love watching the videos
Jealous of all the places you ride!!! We ride mules and love them
Part 2 of kachen the wild mustang
Hi
Great video love it❤❤
I hope she or he is better now and Awesome video if your reading this have a good day 😊
Did the Man ever strike it rich after all that work?
JO JO IN VT 💕😄
Love this channel, BUT, putting that mule on the ice is a bit unethical. Here is why, IF and yes, If the mule falls down ( which is probable), there is no way for him to ever get back up. You'll be looking at a serous injury or a dead mule. No Bueno. Just sayin. Tossing some sand or dirt across as another person commented is a smart option.
That mule is very brave mine is afraid of a rock and gates are his worse nightmare
What a good boy!
Should have thrown some dirt and grass down for traction.
I wish I was as sure-footed as a mule.
CatBatRat . I totally agree 👍
@@trudytrowbridge8268 yeah!!
I was the first one to sub to your account!
@@MoonPOV Oh! I've actually been meaning to ask: why? Not in a rude way. I'm genuinely curious since I don't have any videos or even an about section on my channel.
Ever heard of sharp shoes 😬
Luna is so pretty
any shirts or hoodies for sell?
At least the horse and mule didn't fall through the ice
i love you guysss so mutch 1 to comment and 2nd to like :)
Do they have shoes on during this?
I would assume not, since mules feet are generally strong without them
The drawings where things Indians Drew when they were going to war with the Americans I think
🙏🏾

you did have a choice whether or not cross the river, you should have turned around when you saw how slick the ice was, your lucky your mule didn’t slip and break a leg or god forbid fell through. I hate people who intentionally put their animals at risk for views
Educate yourself before you comment.
Agreed! Shows lack of common sense.
Says the guy hating on people for likes…
Agree...100%
