- I thought I'd do a AMSR video. Nothing is wrong, it was waaaay to early and I didn't feel like talking. LOL.
Ok, watch the resurrection on these old friends. I know I know some people are wondering why??? well WHY NOT???
Took the shoes apart, cleaned and dyed them, fixed the heel lining, added partials foot beds, leather mid soles, GTO rubber soles, leather heel base, vibram top lifts, Leather inner sole and conditioned the heel out of them. i think they turned out pretty good. Thanks for watching
What’s funny is… talking or not, I’ve lost count of the number of times your videos have allowed me to forget my personal issues and the woes of the World… and on occasion, I’ve fallen asleep to them (no offence!). Even the occasional “Hey maaaaan!” doesn’t wake me up.

In reality if you buy 4 or 5 pairs of good shoes (all leather including linings), rotate them in use, use shoe trees and repair the soles before they have holes you will get absolutely years and years from them; I still wear a pair of 1998 Grenson Footmaster Brogues 24 years later.
At this stage in the game, my mind automatically fills in with ‘Hey maaaan, don’t you know that you shouldn’t sharpen those blades, man? They’re meant to be disposable, maaan!’

Remember. A big part of this channel is your colorful and soothing personality. The silent videos just feel like something is missing....

This video made me realize that your commentary/banter is what make your videos great (I would say 70% you and 30% enjoying watching the actual work). You're a great story teller. Hopefully this ASMR style does not become the norm. I cracked a smile when you couldn't help yourself and say "Hammer time" 😁.

Why one would send in some of these shoes in such disastrous conditions is beyond me but it is fun to watch these Lazerous’ of shoes brought back to life

This my favorite rejuvenation to date. Everything is absolutely perfect, but those soles are a touch beyond imagination - perfect color way, beautifully dyed-to-match threading and the matching Vibram with full-grain heel and last, but that upgraded grippy sole with built-in mileage indicators all the detailing just blows anyone else away.

A truly remarkable restoration!
It's like seeing Michelangelo Buonarotti doing his painting, you are not just a cobbler but also an artist I mean it. Few years ago I didn't care much about shoes, but shoes are actually your business card, you can have a nice suit but if your shoes are dirty or not shining, you're gone. I always used to laugh about it when a inlaw said to me women look at your shoes too, so when you go on a date take care of them, first they look at your face then at your shoes. It makes a lot of sense.
One word - Lazarus! Stunning work.
