Hi. I have a corse d 1.2. Do you know what may be the reason for jerking in first and reverse gear when starting? If the engine heats up, the jerking will stop. I replaced the clutch and the problem returned after six months.
Do you do a video showing how to add the wire from fusebox to the bcm on corsa d pre facelift, I have copied everything in this video and they still don't work bud
What’s the chances of putting together a thermostat replaced/install video? Mine has packed in and I’ve a new one ready and waiting, just not 100% sure on what to do
Hi there mate, can you do a video on removing the trims on the side of the corsa d that run down from the front door to the back, the trim is situated on the door and i think its glued on the door as i tried removing it and it was a sticky substance so i just left it, so can you look into that for me and also a front speaker change aswell. Thanks
Hi mate, I have a 2007 Corsa D 1.2 petrol. Ive noticed that I had a thick mayo sludge on my oil cap, I cleaned it off, had the rocker cover cleaned as well as new breather pipes and took it for a long motorway drive to warm up the engine. Upon checking it today, More has built up. Could this be a bigger issue? The car drives fine and has done 100k miles. Thanks
Is there coolant disappearing? And excess smoke? If not then don't worry too much about it. They are a nightmare for getting condensation in the covers.
Hi mate, Im currently in the process of putting heated seats in mine but can’t for the life of me find any wiring diagrams for the heated seat system. I seem to be missing the wires from the switch on the dash to the bcm. Do you know where i can get the wiring diagrams or documents on which hole number to use in both the bcm connector and dash switch so i can put the wire in? Any help would be grateful cheers!
Hey, so I'd recommend Auto data, that's where I get of my wiring diagrams or the haynes manual! Well done for that what a great project l. Do like a one month trial, a what I do!
Hey Tom, I was taking a look at all the lights on my corsa d today and noticed that the passenger side rear fog light doesn't work. The forum says on some models they didn't wire it in. Have replaced the bulb and that didn't fix it. Do you know if both of your rear fogs work. Also how to wire it in if it isn't? Really irritates me only having the one rear fog.
I think only the one rear fog lamp works as only one rear is required according to an EU regulation thingy. I was looking that up too as I also changed the bulb to be sure even tho it looked fine - apparently they fit a bulb on each side but only one is wired in depending on where the car is sold (UK or mainland Europe etc). Apparently you can't even wire the other one in without having some form of relay and another power source due to the CANbus or something. Not an expert or anything, just half remembering what I've previously read 👍
Bit late to reply but I can clear this up for you - EU/UK law regulates that a foglight must either be in the centre line of the car or in line with the driver. 3-door Corsas thus have the reverse light and fog light swapped over depending on which side of the road it is intended to be driven on (for UK, that means the fog is on the right side of the car but places in Europe that drive on the right side of the road will have the fog mounted in the left). 5 door Corsas have twin reverse lights and separate mounting points for the foglight, so it is simply not fitted and/or isnt wired on the side where it isn't needed :)
Also it's worth noting that its possible to change the light cluster for an EU-spec one (so you can have two reverse lights) but it's a legal requirement to have a rear foglight so you will fail an MOT for it

Can you do this with the facelift model?
I'm pretty certain you could, they are basically the same car. The fog light shape are different thats all.

I'll take a look for you, I know mine only has one reverse light which is annoying.
@@TomsDriveway Really? is that by design? That's so weird. For reference, Mine is a 2007 1.4 SXI 5 door
