PLEASE CONTINUE MAKING EPISODES, this is starting to become a podcast i look forward to every now and then now. i don't have problems that most ppl on here have lol, but it's still interesting to hear about BASED opinions on how to manage your own wealth. so yeah, keep up the great work Sam and moneywise team.
Great content that is vastly different from the finance / startup pods out there, very raw, no bullshit, sometimes even vulnerable info these interviewees are throwing out, which makes it so insightful!
This has become my favorite podcast! I came from nothing and have built up a NW of around 6-7M which is wild for me and my mindset. I have been a very frugal person, saving/investing 80-90% of my income. I am working at loosening up and finding balance between increasing lifestyle creep a bit but not too much.
Love this episode. Useful. One question I'm interested in (which I think others might be too): How did he go about finding his Chief of Staff? I'm in the process of looking for a personal chief of staff for my wife and I, but I have no idea how to go about doing that.
My experiment is to hire a virtual assistant through Shepherd. I have a detailing business and I think with a virtual assistant I can have some of my manual outreach be increased even while I'm physically detailing. I also run a newsletter and I think I could use a virtual assistant combined with AI to help automate some processes with that. That's between an 800 to $1,000 experiment per month. But if I book two or four more vehicles per month because of it it'll pay for itself.
Sam, I write newsletters for podcasts and creators! This show surely needs a letter after every episode in written format! Can I send you an example I made?
This makes me feel so bad and sad about myself. These rich people are talking about spending time with family, friends and doing stuff that matters to them. Meanwhile I am stuck working a pointless and boring job (engineering) earning $75k, 9 hours a day (including commute). After bills I am left with almost no savings. I have a bunch of social obligations (kids, wife, friends etc) that take all my spare time and money. So I have no chance of ever getting myself out of this hell hole. All I need i $10 million and I could finally feel free and do stuff I enjoy.
