I've just started following you. I dont care how someones content looks. Authenticity matters more to me then anything else
Same ! As long as you feel that the content is done with love and that it’s authentic the content itself isn’t that important
I definitely relate to this video so much. I remember when I uploaded my first RUclips video, and sent my mom the link to watch, and all she did was to criticize me and bring me down. But I did not let that stop me from creating content. I just had to ignore all of it and do me ❤.. thank you for sharing this ❣️

Family members are always the most critical of the things we do because they either want to be doing it themselves or they want us to be doing something else.
I always say, follow your heart and do what you love.

Why is the screen shot for this video so bad? It’s an image of you with your mouth open and it looks weird. Take some time to produce a better quality product. How you do one thing is how you do all things. Now I’m going to go on to the rest of your videos and watch you complain about this and that, but true self improvement is rarely mentioned. I’m just starting and I have a lot of work to do to get better and this is a huge issue for me. I know my content isn’t perfect, but I know it will get better as I earn my certifications and can help more. So, hopefully people I know don’t see it until then 😅 Great advice too! 😊

I used to be very concerned with others, what they think of my content. This was many many years ago.
After some time I realized that it's not as important as I used to believe. This includes people you grew close to like friends and relatives...despite their input, more often than not it would take too much time and effort to convince them. For example for much of my performance arts content, it took dedicated energy and time to produce, and I continue improving by learning what to improve as necessary. One friend I used to know, constantly proposed his ideas and even suggested working together. However, the way he delivered it, I never took it seriously so I brushed it off.
Because it largely went against what I was producing - it would drag down the content considerably or just would become too big an obstacle to consistently work with him . He and I were on simply very different approaches.
There are so many reasons we can create content, sometimes it applies to others and sometimes it's more for us like a personal vlog! There's something to be said about loving yourself, being proud of what you produce, appreciating what you produce. That intrinsic feeling is something nobody else can take away, particularly negative/harsh people that could pop up any moment in life .
