100 ping is definitely a ton. I would say 80% of players are playing on much lower then 100 ping.

It's not bad Vs other high ping players, But vs a low ping player get ready to get Shot through your wall, people walking to your builds, People editing and shooting before you and many more. Hence why nobody has gone pro on 100+ ping.
High ping is ok as long as not spike ping lag (bufferbloat). In fact, latency can help you on enemy detection and give you advantage.

I'm disappointed. This isn't considered high ping from the majority of people. This is just medium high ping which feels similar to 60 ping just with an extremely tiny amount of added delay.
It needs to at least be 100+ or way above that such how TFue used to play on in EU with 150+ or 200+ ping in tournaments for easy money and how Mongrel loved to be on the highest ping possible to clap people in 1v1s for some reason that he was actually somehow able to do easily against pro players. (Just built different)
Either way you still get off of zero ping servers to experience how other players have to play the game, so I can respect that.

Tell epic to give South Africa servers
Its crazy how some people call it a challenge to be on a hundred ping but for South Africans 100 ping is actually extremely good. Its really not fair and I have no clue why fortnite has not yet added South African servers. We dont have any servers but the servers we do use are constantly broken. What I mean by that is that we normally use Middle East, which gives us 130 ms, but every three days or so it changes to 240 ms which forces us to use Europe which is 180 ms. Seriously, we've been ranting on this for long but Epic Games Still hasnt done anything about it.
Wow it's crazy to see my ping is the same as you in NA East and it's my closest server, I stop playing because of that, I would like to play like the other people, but well when I tried that they always got wall, playing with disadvantages that's why I stopped playing the game, it's not fun to play like that most of the time, I use to rush a lot in the game and almost win every fight, but the reason why I die a lot back in the day is cause those main reasons, always the same and that's why I get bored about the game unfortunately, I'm pretty sure kinda a little bit less ping this time cause I changed my internet, I use to play with satelital internet (Pretty Bad Actually), but I have a question, is this the only way I have to play to win? Hopefully in the future they fix this thing with ping, and the Big cable for google works cause in Latin america I see a lot of disadvantages with the ping but we never stop playing, Now I play valorant cause the really put servers i'm country and sometimes in NA too cause it's playable but Epic Games always had enough money to put servers but they put it in the wrong place, idk why, like a said hopefully someday they put another server in Latin America and then a lot of people it's going to comeback to the game, cause I feel the game i know it's not dead but i'm pretty sure even most of the people still playing competitive stuff, they are leaving.

I've been playing with a ping of 80-100 since Chapter 3, Season 1. I can't say that it's very hard to play with such a ping - but I still often come across players with a lower ping who can kill through a wall 100 kilometers away using only a submachine gun and without moving...
