Pittsburgh has two remaining funiculars: the Monongahela Incline dating back to 1870, and the Duquesne Incline dating back to 1877. The Monongahela Incline was closed when we visited Pittsburgh, so we rode the Duquesne Incline instead. Shown around by some great people, this was a fun experience. I recommend everyone add this to their Pittsburgh itinerary.
