Works pretty good on small streight grained birch, how about some dead ask 14 to 16 inches across or some really stringy stuff if you want to sell it find the nasty stuff you can and show what it will do with that

This machine is designed for straight no knot softer wood. I watched the other videos where they did oak. Still only like 8" diameter woods. It is what it is.
You want a production machine that can eat thru almost anything.....get a Blockbuster.
    No comparison

Hello! Thanks for your comment. This video is made at Japa factory and birch is the most popular firewood around here. Luckily we have several videos with the hardwood as well. Please see a couple of examples here:
      Red oak: ruclips.net/video/zkymUpmnA6I/видео.html
      Hard wood: ruclips.net/video/vL9wBW6X6DQ/видео.html

Ohio Wood Burner also makes really good videos with their Japa 365 and they are processing all kind of different logs in the videos: ruclips.net/channel/UCgoX4dhlG9ZYXPyjvYkXUVAvideos

How many cubic meters of wood does it make per hour?

Between 5 to 10 loose m3 per hour is normal output. Depends a lot on size of logs.

Right away i notice something that i never liked.watch the wedge and the size of the timber going in.If that wedge is not centered all the time and the operator not paying attention, you get a lot of "junk" splits, meaning slivers of off cuts that are pretty much useless.I bought some firewood from a processor and noticed when the load was stacked,i ended up with quite the pile of,what i call slivers or junk wood.Unless you sort your wood as a seller, you really are not getting a full cord of good quality, burnable wood.No disrespect inteneded,it just what im seeing on these processors. It looks as if the wedge needs to be changed often according to the size of the logs fed in?

Thanks for the feedback. In this video we chose different size logs to show how easy knife replacement is. Also we wanted to show our customers different splitting knife options available for Japa 365. There is always certain amount of junk coming when wood is processed but this can be cleaned by the separate cleaning drum or disc cleaner when the quality matters. We have also firewood processors with inbult cleaners and patented Perfect Split system to make always perfect firewood.
