  • I was behind on getting a few trees cleaned up and also behind on getting some firewood split for customers who specifically ask for this firewood. The ‪@japa-firewoodprocessors‬ 365 Pro makes quick work by maximizing the efficiency of running long logs.

    You are Right on Dan, with the Pine. Lots of Campers like it when they go to Camp in the Summer and Even when the Fall comes around For the Hunters. It's great Wood for that. Nice Weather out but not doing to much today, just in and taking it easy as I have just over done it a little to much. In fact my Wife made an Appointment with the Cardiologist for today as my Heart Rate is up. So keep up your Great Video's my Friend and Be Safe, and of course stay Cool. Great video Dan! I love watching the Japa at work. It's amazing how quickly it knocks out whole logs. You should gauge the interest with your customers on some pine mini firewood. 👍

      It does fly through the wood, no doubt. Not sure about mini Pine....think it'd burn up awful quick. Sure would save on shipping costs though....lol

    The Japa perfect split wedge is a sweet tool….!!! I’m glad that pine hit the trailer and not the dirt….! 😉. Is the wood very “sappy”…..?

    Processing longer logs is certainly the ticket. I am sure you saw the video from the In The Woodyard crew where they put a 60' or so log on the 22MB processor and got 30+ 16" rounds out it.

    Man Dan you need to build a log deck or get a small live deck, that Japa is way to fast to be fooling around with one log at a time. Ricks got a pretty nice fab shop too, whip up something with fork pockets so you can move it around easily.

    Dang right, it’s all we burn out west we don’t have the luxury of having a whole bunch of different kinds of hardwoods. Maybe you won’t answer would like to know how much that Yapp cost sure thinking about getting one. And also looking at the brute force, but dang they are a lot of money.

    Does the Japa need leveled up again? I don't recall pieces wanting to fall back into the splitting chamber after being split before. Pine is fine especially if you don't mind a few burn holes in your sweatshirt from the pops n cracks while sitting around the fire!🔥

    • @Back40Firewood
      @Back40Firewood  3 месяца назад +1

      Yeah I might need to check...I had a few pieces fall back into the splitting chamber and that might be why. 👍🍻

    QQQ Hi Dan do you Also get Spruce for your Pine Customers. And being that Pine is very Sticky with Sap on it do you use Anything to keep the Bark and Split Pieces on your RAM or Wedge I thought Maybe Spray it with Pam that None Stick Can They use on Ovens I use it on My Snow Plows and it Works Great the Snow Falls right Off

    • @Back40Firewood
      @Back40Firewood  3 месяца назад

      Spruce usually has a LOT of knots from all the branches growing every 2 inches...lol. The sap wasn't too bad and it usually just gets cleaned off with the next splits going through.

      There's a tape measure on the Japa in feed that I use to make a cut when there are 32" of log left...then my last 2 cuts will be at 16" each.
