I think in the future people will look back at the 90s/2000s skateboarding era and think to themselves how awfully corporate and sold out it was, and that the style of skating was just chasing "the next big adrenaline rush". It's sad that most skaters, at least that I know personally, are this specific type of skater that is into the 90s/2000s culture, their entire life and clique revolves around this.
Just got a carver board. The Tyler riddler, it is awesome, so much fun to ride, and as a much bigger guy I wasnt sure these boards would work, but I was worried about nothing, they are really well made and durable.
I was never that into skating, I had preferred long boards until I got my carver c7 "da monsta" and it was love at first carve, I've been hooked ever since.
Skaters get triggered by this when they don't understand it's to simulate surfing. Funny thing is that surfers probably invented skating in 1950s to rip on flat days
those moves go back to the beginning of skating in the 60s. Before I started surfing Ive already been street skating half of my life, so this surf skate thing looked really weird to me too. Now as a surfer I totally get it.
Wish I would have surfed c street on a good day the conditions were pretty poor and the current was way stronger then I expected only seen videos of it got sucked under the pier at least three times😂 but looks like a perfect wave on a good day
I'm into street and surf/carving skateboarding. The people who show hate when I ride my carving board will never know the feel of riding these boards.

What they are skating in is a "pop-up" skatepark, but there are plenty of skateparks and long walkways to skate.
