      DownUnderBikeLife Mate agreed, it’s not my thing I can appreciate someone building that it has some factor and everyone to there own, but seems not fit for purpose to me, the range alone, mud dirt sand etc, luxury is not for the outback, carbon bonnet if you can afford it but flares, even if not rolled you still rub banks trees all sorts of shit even deep ruts, rocks stones flying up, as you say the top end load is usually what everyone is trying to avoid not create. Cool to see don’t see it catching on, not for me, comfort is canvas and maybe a couple Stratos in the Landcrusier a good mattress in the RTT, dunno what he sleeps in either didn’t see no swag? And the massive v8 petrol engine probably doesn't do it any favors.

    • @johncitizen8253
      @johncitizen8253 5 лет назад

      @@zombiefighterof1987 I disagree. Just because the engine can make a lot of power, doesn't mean it needs to use that power all the time. Even if you put an engine half the size in it, that vehicle would still use roughly the same amount of fuel, except, you would be using more of the available power under normal driving, as the vehicle would still require the same amount of power to move it through the air. This is about fluid dynamics more than about anything else. There is a reason why Teslas looks the way they do. If the exterior of the vehicle was designed like a more 'normal' car, they mileage on them would be A LOT less, for the same reason as the mileage on this thing is so bad.

      I routinely see Aussies running 3ton+ LC79s that are somewhat prone to tipping over (ask Shauno)...It's not just the Merc...People LOVE to diss those with money, yet I never see them turning it down...

  • @matt87888
    @matt87888 5 лет назад +2

    No challenges because they want it in top condition. As it ends would have been better off letting you drive it through the challenges to prove what it can do, other than the rich Boy racer rolling it.
    Now we’ll never know

      Money doesn't matter. I wanted to see the car win all the challenges now we'll never know. We're all boy racers including sam. If you fail to see the comedic timing of what happened and the comment of tip top condition you should go and ingest a satchel full of HIV positive Richards Mr douche worm. I'm sure this guys mates have given it worse than we can. So if you want to try suck rich arse throw up a classifieds add

      And that has what to do with the irony and timing of the tip top comment and the roll over? I’ve never wished the owner ill, merely displayed disappointment we didn’t see his car win all challengers. I’m sure it would have. So Aspergers means we’re all boy racers or none of us are? You’ve lost me with you attempted guilt defence of something that’s quite achievable to live hand in hand with.. look I’m glad you all saw a4s media’s post about all the hate this guy got and fell in line like sheep and love the chance to only see the few negatives in my comments not take away the positives. ( car been a winner and all that ) so freedom dude had to get some polite suggestions which now hopefully result in some back bone growing
      In closing you’ll see no comments of mine displayed as hate to the owner anywhere on socials and the jealousy thing. I work half a year provide for 4 so I’m doing alright that’s all I need to be happy

Man the jealousy on this site is like a massive stench from the heart to the mouth to the air...

      @Selo79 5 лет назад +1

      @@freedomrider266 more the irony that a car like this is on sams channel, whos motto is built not bought. Look at most of the other run downs and the guys are doing custom barwork and panel work themselves. Not to mention all the other gear and additions.
      Not saying its not a nice rig, that is what 200k+ gets you, but it was hardly built with knowledge or experience as a 4wd and had landed on its side on its first outing, just as predicted by Sam.
