Holy Toledo! I found a bank-sealed bag of 50ps in my till this morning and spotted a Charles III, so I opened it up and was rewarded with 2x Memorial and 2x Coronation; I couldn't believe my luck, because I was expecting the Coronation coin to be difficult to find so early on.

Do all of the 2019 shields you are finding sound tinny or is it just a subset? If so could you guess a percentage that sound odd?

Christopher, there are few reasons for abbreviations but the usual one is to reduce the number of syllables making it easier and quicker to say. As there is no benefit from using 'P' over 'Pence" why do it when "Pence" is the correct word?
The abbreviation Chris does has that benefit over Christopher.
