Iv been doing a few coin hunts but I’m finding it real hard to get bags of coins from my local banks, they are now saying I need a business account to obtain the different bags of change. Any ideas as even the post office are saying the same.
Coin hunting as such this way takes the buzz you get finding one in your change you've been after for a while, all of mine i got in the wild and because people are getting them in bulk like this no wonder they are becoming more scarce therefore coming across an Olympic makes it that little bit more special
My NatWest Bank won’t let me have £500 sealed bag £2 coins or when I ask for similar 50p big sealed bags. A new bank manager stopped this 6 months ago because they said I was not a business. They will let me have upto 5 small bags and sometimes not sealed. I used to get lots of commemorative coins. Maybe around 18%. I now get around 7% commemorative.
If I specifically asked the bank clerk for £250 in 50p coins I think they’d call the manager……….or is this volume perfectly ‘run if the mill’ for banks?
Quick question Christopher: You found a rotation error on the Benjamin Bunny, but are there rotation errors on other commemorative coins, shields or Britannias?
Dude how rare ? I have three Benjamin bunny coins and 4 of the 5 rare coins, if anyone has any keep hold of them. When I find the last coins they are getting buried with no map lol maybe a bottle filled with sand and coins just toss it into the ocean.😊
