I know it’s “just a roof”, but how messy they are with sealant makes me worry about their workmanship. If they’re in such a rush that it’s dripping everywhere, it doesn’t give me confidence is build quality.
I love having a place to sit and watch tv and also the kitchen is stylish. The red LED is a bit much but at night it would be okay. The slide needing to be out to fully access the bed is a pain.
This was my mother's day gift. The moment Matt turned that key and I heard and felt the low, powerful rumble of that boss Chevy engine, I sailed back in time. I actually loved the warm red/orange lights (orange/Chevy)...so different from the stark white or blue. Everything is so "cold" looking and all the same. I loved the difference. I was a bit disappointed that there weren't two windows in the upper bunk but with the sound of that engine still humming, I could gladly blow it off. Besides, the overhead fan is directly over the bunk and not outside, away from it. I love the chrome strips in the cabinetry...70s class! I loved almost everything and that's a nice change up when I dislike almost everything on other RVs. The only thing I would change would be that massive bed. I don't care that it has no headboard. That gives me an easy shot at creating my own. The only thing you had to to make me love this was turning on that engine and leaving it running. That low, strong humming in the background just kind of put me into a daze.❤ Andrea...loved the 60s look!
But they did leave it running for the remainder of the video. You can her the low rumble of the diesel engine and you can see the radio and stuff on the dash still on each time the camera pans that direction
I prefer bunk over cabs that have windows. The ones without feel claustrophobic. Those sofa/gamer chairs: the plus is there is a headrest. I’m going to harp on this forever, but the recliners that have no place to rest your head are going to be miserable if you’re watching a long movie, etc. I love that you can move the table around-makes accessing the seating so much easier. Don’t love the red LED’s. I’d like a different color (blue or white, maybe lavender.) more. The TP holder placement is horrible but it’s not a huge thing to take it off and do something different. I’d prefer a queen and more walk-around space in the bedroom.
I like that the front tips up to access the engine. I also like that it appears to have power at the nightstands for bipap machines and other equipment.
I see on their webpage that the recliner seats can be replaced with a sofa, and the red LED light in the kitchen can be changed. LED's usually have a remote that can be used to change the color. I love the Chev chassis and that diesel engine, great choice. A really great RV with the different sofa and color choice of the LED strip. Top of my list at the moment.
Hi Matt and Andrea! My dud likes are the red lights in the kitchen, theater seats, and the bunks over the cab. My likes are the J shaped dinette, the kitchen and storage. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
I have to admit that tyhere's not too much inside this motorhome that I like, although I am a bit of a Chevy fan. I do like all the storage on the outside, but the sealant looks like it was put on by a 5-year-old in a bad mood. I am, however, trying to convince my wife to take us to General RV (or at least let me go by myself). We currently live in Winter Haven, and her family lives in Ocala, so it's not that big of a trip. We'll see. Once again, a great video!
So this unit rocks on a 5500 chassis .:. 👍🏽 master bedroom (king beds rule, bonus combo WD); kitchen kudos (3 burners, oven, counter, pantry, nice fridge, backsplash); 4x4 chassis has a lot of storage and tows 10000#; bonus roomy cockpit - looks like the pass seat reclines? .:. 👎🏽 trade the theatre seats for a sofa all day; I’d definitely unplug the neon; and the cockpit screen comes out for one that does CarPlay or Auto .:. OHB is low cieling 👎🏽👍🏽 holds 850# .:. Thanks for the review M/A
25 years ago I owned a Coachman. It had such attention to detail and quality. I drove it throughout Alaska, dirt washboard roads, etc. some of the details on this are disappointing. The roof looks like they were very sloppy with sealant. The step between the cab and living area is better than the Ford but the video makes it look cheap. Just an illusion? The sofa chairs? No thanks. I like the storage on this, I like Motorhomes on truck chassis and I think there is a lot in this length super C. Thank you for your videos.
Duramax engines are Isuzu engines from Japan in partnership with GM. Not completely American made. Don’t get mad at me, I own a Silverado 3500 and love it. 😂
@Scott MichaelS I have 2 young boys. If I'm watching a review and I can see how durable or flimsy things are that's a huge help to me. These wearable items should be designed and tested to withstand lots of abuse. One review is not going to do any damage to well made products. I need things that will stand the test of time, and I actually appreciate the rough handling.
Great alternative to the Jayco/Entegra super C if budgets don’t allow. Decent floor plan. They really missed out on the outside storage 😢 for a “Super C”
The cab configuration of the Magnitude/Omni offers cup holders for your coffee, and it has storage spaces. I agree that it isn’t as smooth of a transition from camper to cab.
I glanced down at my phone for a moment as Andrea was giving the kitchen tour. When I looked up, I thought she was HORRIBLY sunburned. It was just the glow from those red doom lights thankfully!
Andrea's right, the red strip lighting is cringe inducing. It's reminiscent of the conversion vans with the red shag and fake fur walls. Not thrilled with the enormous bed, but I suppose for some folks it's okay. Liked the washer/dryer. The backsplashes could be better if they wrapped around the corners. At least I think that's true, without seeing it that way. Virtually everything else is good. I would have sworn that this is a longer unit, based on what's included.
Hi Matt. I like this coachmen.I like that it's a diesel. I don't like the car seats. I want regular comfy seats.I like the dining area and its combinations and good sized bed. Like the king bed. Wish the shower was bigger. I don't normally like the corner kitchen but they did give the kitchen space, lights, storage, a spacious sink and extra pantry. I love all the storage it comes with as well as towing. I wish it had the coach men under bed storage like some of them do.I love that it has a combo washer dryer. Plus lots of storage outside. By the way, I wonder it you can change the led lights to off or blue or ?? This is a winning RV with 4x4 diesel.
They should have put a Diesel generator, hooked to the fuel tank, propane tank is not large enough to supply the generator and gas stove also! They should have made the bed accessible with slides in. Yes Roof Coating is not a professional job. Unit is to much money!
You weren’t totally wrong on the towing capacity. It is 10,000# with the Chevy and 15,000# with the International chassis. The recliners are an option with a sofa as standard. Based on the info on the manufacturer’s page, I would suggest getting the Deluxe Chassis Package. It has power driver’s seat, power windows and locks, dash AC, tilt steering wheel, and cruise control. These seem like they should be standard on a super C. Overall, pretty nice unit.
For all the good qualities this coach has (roomy, 5500 series, good kitchen) I believed they skimped a bit on the theater seats and the lack of Car Play with a large format screen. To me those seats didn't look comfortable and Andrea confirmed it. In something on this level Car Play w/large screen should be standard.
What is the Apple car play anyways? I’ve heard it advertised a few times but have no idea what it is, but I’m not a tech geek either so I just don’t have a clue what it does other than something with the radio but I don’t listen to the radio either tho, lol 😂
@@1982MCI CarPlay works by connecting your phone via BT or USB . Your iPhone screen is mirrored on your RV's infotainment screen. You can navigate, make calls, send/receive messages, and play your music and use your apps. Pretty much full Siri integration. I prefer the largest screen. For those that don't have anything or just an older outdated system in their RV, you can do like I did - use the largest iPad Pro or the largest iOS device screen you can afford.
This is a nice Class C. I like the Chevy cassis. The size is perfect for my driveway. I wish the Entourage had a fiberglass roof. Also, I'm not too fond of the recliners. I prefer the sofa. I am glad the LED strip can change colors. Red would not be one of my color choices. Thanks for another great video!
Honestly man. You already prove it by yourself, you are not the sharpest knife in the bucket... ...but somehow in some mysterious way with your incredibly cheap jokes, but with your amazingly friendly and very respectful communication... ...you just bought me. Where can I sign it? I like that car.
This is close to perfect for us. Love the chevy chassis, did read on the website you could order it with the international chassis, I wonder if that would make the outside storage doors taller? Lights should be able to change color. Likes King size bed Washer/dryer combo 4x4 Dislikes Toilet paper holder in a bad spot Storage bays are short The fact that I can't buy one right now lol
I don't know if I'd hang out with Matt, but he is a good narrator. And, he never acts like a d-head! And, Andrea and him bounce off of each other well. A show requires characters that are interesting and naturally have a chemistry that an audience can feel. All and all I enjoy their videos. That's why I subscribed. I almost forgot. I also like their videos because first and foremost! They honestly present what they like and don't like about the product they're reviewing. Most people in these kinds of review oriented videos are straight sales people and are trying to move product and don't say anything that could be perceived as negative. I have to assume that Matt and Andrea can move product because they're honest on their reviews. Like, for instance. Matt's honest opinion on those two front seats. He doesn't like them because he said that they feel like Gamer seats. I'm glad he said Gamer seats, because I like Gamer seats. So his negative is my positive. Amazing how life works.
Why? Is water theft a big issue where your at? My coach doesn’t even have a key to start it, just flip power on and push start button, and I’m surely knot gonna lock my wet bays! I may lock my tool storage bay but that’s debatable depending upon where I am! If I’m at a location where I feel the need to lock everything up, then I’ve chosen the wrong location to park at and need to keep heading on down the road!
This one looks really nice. Thank you Matt and Andrea love all your reviews. They did a sloppy sealant on top of the roof with that price they should use better sealant. Can you have a stackable washer and dryer and wine fridge?
First things first! Love your videos, but please get a step stool to help with your dismount off the ladders. Believe me, your knees and ankles will thank you. Second, Glad to see the Chevy chassis, but I wouldn't buy unless the captain seats could have armrest added.
I imagine most buyers will eventually spend $ 10,000 in accessories. Front winch / off-road bumper. Rear bumper with off-road spare tire, engine-snorkel, LOL !
❤ exterior color ❤ storage ❤ nice indoor colors ❤ 800 bunk over cab ❤ window bunk over cab 😡 split bath 😡 reclining chairs to close to one another 😡 not able to use bed
They planned on def being filled by jugs bought from Walmart, auto parts store, convenience stores, etc. Unless you stop at a truck stop then your not gonna find Def pumps at a gas station and most diesels are filled with jugs you stock up with in the trunk or back of the truck bed so it doesn’t matter where the nozzle goes and only gives folks something to whine n cry about that won’t do a bit of good at all, lol 😂
I feel that you are stepping down with the Chevrolet. I have owned two Chevrolets and had nothing but trouble eith themk/. The one unit stranded my wofe, daughter and I in the high S9ierra Mountains of California with just 2500 miles on the engine and it was broken in correctly. I have since owned several Fords and have never had a problem. The Ford interiors were much nicer also. I definitely do not like the fact that if you camp at certain places along the way and cannot use the slideout, you can’t use the bed in the back
Need the propane tank size. The freshwater capacity at 65 gal is reasonable, but not great. Diesel fuel capacity could be 50% larger; very necessary for laying down long travel distances in one shot.🎉
Like the Chevrolet chassis. Would like to see a “Super B+”. Eliminate that bunk over the cab. Eliminate the bedroom slide and make the bedroom usable without a slide. For a super C the CCC seems a little low. The red led lights inside are hideous. Would to see a Super B+ made for a couple, but could still sleep and carry 4. Overall it’s a nice unit, just not totally what I’d want.
I believe the CCC that Matt likes to read is the number in Kilograms...Matt commonly does this....if this as a super C only has 2744 lbs of cargo capacity. Thats lower than many Regular C class being currently offered...but we'll never know, as the salesman seem to place CCC as irrelevant, yet they will caution you on the towing weight of the hitch...
The Chevy chassis is nice. This rig, for me, feels awkward. Perhaps it is the video, but the cabinetry appears to be of lower quality. The bunk, yes, agree with you. Awkward, small, and really, it would have better to nix it and put in cabinetry. Don’t like that the bed isn’t usable when the slide is closed & don’t like the tilting features as it will eventually deteriorate, and probably not far in the future. Outside storage is a plus and I do like, so it appears, that the rig rides high for some 4x4 activity. So, like the chassis but not the RV.
Huge fail with an LP generator! Should have been a diesel gen. If you're boondocking over a warm weekend and running the AC's, you'll run out of propane inside of 10 hours.
I don't like how the bed folds, and it's not even sharing a space with a bathroom. For being a big motorhome I wish the shower was a tad bigger, and I'm surprised you let the toilet pass as a PPP, but you would know, just looked really tight. Also the pantry door should be a pull out door by the fridge rather than a side door over the steps.
Matt, just because its a 10,000 lb rated hitch doesn't mean it can legally tow 10,000lbs. You have to weigh the MH and subtract that number from the GCVW to get what amount is leftover that you can tow. I have an older Jayco Seneca built on the Chevy Kodiak 5500 chassis and it has a 10,000lb rated hitch, but legally I can only tow about 7-7500 lbs.
We fell in love with this super c, however, we boondock A LOT, and the propane generator is an absolute FAIL!!!!!! We were ready to sign papers for purchase and did a deep dive into the propane generator using AC and not having access to hookups, you would not be able to go a full day on the generator alone. Epic fail on Coachmans part and not allowing an upgrade or option to replace. So incredibly disappointed.
Incredible fail. I haven't seen an LP generator in a full size diesel since 2001 . Unless you went with a Sprinter chassis class B+ with and lp generator and major fail as well.
MATT!! NOOOOO! We love this super c!! King bed? Yes sir! Windows galore? Front and back!! Duramax 5500 4-wheel drive? Please, do not tell me this is at the Ocala store and still available. Hubby is asking. . .
I think that the recliners are fine the way they are in the '23 models as a rear seated passenger has head and neck support. I've sat in both a '23 and a '24 and I would have preferred Coachman stuck with the original high back bucket style seat as the lower seat will not provide a rear passenger with any head/neck support driving down the road, particularly if there is an accident. Personal likes and dislikes by reviewers should not affect the safety of passengers. Coachmen, go back to the higher seats.
Only because Matt told her to put it right there through the magical powers of digital video editing tho, lol 😂. The video was taped either days or weeks ago so she time to get all her specs and info together and get it all edited in right where Matt asked her to place it as he was filming the rest of the video. It all works out good in the finished videos
2 Major dislikes for an RV of this type. Its unacceptable for the front cab to not be seemless and the rear cap to not be the nicer 1 piece molded style.
The bunk over the cab lacks a shade; it will turn that area into an oven in the summer. The interior just looks cheap. This looks more like a Class C than anything resembling a Super C.
I look at super Cs as being a safer, easier to repair alternative to diesel pushers. The same luxury and high end features as their class A cousins. This has none of that, not even full body paint or high end appliances.
Weird layout. There's barely any space between the theater seats and the dinette. Too cramped in that area. The corner kitchen? I don't know about that. Not enough counter space. I like the size of the shower. But the toilet area is too small. Maybe remove the theater seats and move the kitchen area down, then widen to toilet area.
Corner kitchen sucks! Everything else is pretty good. Not sure I Like the 2 theatre seat chairs, would probably take them out and put in something else. Love the towing capabilities & 4x4!
To me it looks like a cheap attempt to fool the buyer into thinking its nicer than the build quality would show. Looks like the roads would shake that apart easilly. The chasis seemed nice , but again, will it withstand the roads for the length of time the cost justifies.
I do not feel the cabinet / build quality is up to Coachmen standards. The chassis is great, but no Apple Car Play is a deal breaker. I use my phone for music and GPS in my B van, and hands free phone use is the law for many states. Bad move on Chevrolet and unfortunately now for Coachmen. Price point not low enough to overcome downside issues.
Somebody should talk to quality control because that roof is horrific I mean you spend a ton of money on these RVs come on ,if they don’t want nobody to look up their take away the ladder
There was nothing good about that bathroom. no way it was a PPP not to mention the door doesn't go to the top. Fire the person that put those chairs in and again a passenger seat that wont recline. It's dark and basically it just sucks, they even screwed up the wet bay.
Likes? Not many. I do prefer the gas stove and oven combo, rather than just a convection microwave. The Seneca/Accolade twins seem to be built much better. The cabinetry of the Coachman looks chintzy. I absolutely hate the Coachmen cabovers. They look horrible, and they have much less headroom than the Seneca/Accolade, which in turn has less headroom than the Magnitude/Omni twins. And frankly, I prefer the PowerStroke over the DuraMax. But, at least they give you proper fart fans…only 4” fans in the much more expensive Seneca/Accolade.
Coachmen had a lot of time to see the competition and do better. They didn't. The flip up outside storage doors suck. The red lighting is just werid. The whole unit reeks of cheap. I wouldn't consider this cheap piece of crap for a second. Good luck with this mess Coachmen.
I know it’s “just a roof”, but how messy they are with sealant makes me worry about their workmanship. If they’re in such a rush that it’s dripping everywhere, it doesn’t give me confidence is build quality.
If people saw RV's being built they'd NEVER buy one.
If anyone actually saw anything made they would think twice. Lol
looks like he was drunk and blind folded
I agree.
It’s not just a roof, it’s by far the #1 reason why most RVs fail😢
Happy Mother's Day Andrea!! Your the real star 🌟 on Matt's Reviews. Sorry Matt, you come in second. Love your videos Matt.😎
So those luggage doors don’t stay open by themselves? That would be a huge pain when trying to load the truck!
I love having a place to sit and watch tv and also the kitchen is stylish. The red LED is a bit much but at night it would be okay. The slide needing to be out to fully access the bed is a pain.

Agree and we live way too close to General RV!
I think one of the likes should be the combo W/D. and it does not look like an afterthought. Also at 33', it fits into most State and National parks.
Will be nice , if for $200 K they can include arms rest for the seats at lest for the driver !
I prefer bunk over cabs that have windows. The ones without feel claustrophobic.

The engineers at Chevrolet should go to a truck stop and see where the def hose is located before they build the truck.

A positive on this Super C is that it comes with a 4x4. It would be really popular at OHV parks in Calif (parks that are still open).
I thought they were banning diesel in Cali?

If I’m at a location where I feel the need to lock everything up, then I’ve chosen the wrong location to park at and need to keep heading on down the road!
@@1982MCI not theft, folks ability to add something to the fresh water. It's my hang up and I'm glad that there's a deterrent.
That that is not a superC that’s a class C on a pick up truck chassis
It's a much easier to drive super C but prefer the Ford F600 chassis
I agree and unfortunately a Chevy pickup.
Rear bumper with off-road spare
tire, engine-snorkel, LOL !
❤ exterior color
❤ storage
❤ nice indoor colors
❤ 800 bunk over cab
❤ window bunk over cab
😡 split bath
😡 reclining chairs to close to one another
😡 not able to use bed
Loving Andreas dress, approved, 🎉
BING!
Thanks so much 🤗
i like the television placement.
I don't know why they put the def fill on the passenger side when def pumps at truck stops are on the drivers side
Happy Mother's Day Andrea!!!
Thanks happy Mother’s Day to you too 🌺
I feel that you are stepping down with the Chevrolet. I definitely do not like the fact that if you camp at certain places along the way and cannot use the slideout, you can’t use the bed in the back
I giggled when you were next to the hood and it is taller than you. Don't know why they went with the LP generator instead of a diesel one.
Makes no sense!
Miss Andrea looking beautiful, another pretty dress 👗 and I feel you on the Darth Vader red!
Thanks so much 🤗
Smart use of storage. 😊
I wish they would make coaches for people who work out of them. Desk space, work chairs etc.
Need the propane tank size. The freshwater capacity at 65 gal is reasonable, but not great. Diesel fuel capacity could be 50% larger; very necessary for laying down long travel distances in one shot.🎉
80lb propane
Like the Chevrolet chassis. Would like to see a “Super B+”. Eliminate that bunk over the cab. Eliminate the bedroom slide and make the bedroom usable without a slide. For a super C the CCC seems a little low. The red led lights inside are hideous. Would to see a Super B+ made for a couple, but could still sleep and carry 4. Overall it’s a nice unit, just not totally what I’d want.
The bed having to be “deployed” and stored is a huge negative for me too
I believe the CCC that Matt likes to read is the number in Kilograms...Matt commonly does this....if this as a super C only has 2744 lbs of cargo capacity. Thats lower than many Regular C class being currently offered...but we'll never know, as the salesman seem to place CCC as irrelevant, yet they will caution you on the towing weight of the hitch...
I ❤ my Coachman 1997, PowerStoke diesel E450, 29RF class C
The Chevy chassis is nice. This rig, for me, feels awkward. Perhaps it is the video, but the cabinetry appears to be of lower quality. The bunk, yes, agree with you. Awkward, small, and really, it would have better to nix it and put in cabinetry. Don’t like that the bed isn’t usable when the slide is closed & don’t like the tilting features as it will eventually deteriorate, and probably not far in the future. Outside storage is a plus and I do like, so it appears, that the rig rides high for some 4x4 activity.
So, like the chassis but not the RV.
The upside about a super c the downside about the super c in 321 I love that part
Huge fail with an LP generator! Should have been a diesel gen. If you're boondocking over a warm weekend and running the AC's, you'll run out of propane inside of 10 hours.
Huge fail
Super c is not in my price range but love it.
Hey Matt, Nice unit. Good price!
Wanted to know if you can have liquid springs installed.
Why do they put fuel fill and DEF on opposite sides of the RV?
We fell in love with this super c, however, we boondock A LOT, and the propane generator is an absolute FAIL!!!!!! We were ready to sign papers for purchase and did a deep dive into the propane generator using AC and not having access to hookups, you would not be able to go a full day on the generator alone. Epic fail on Coachmans part and not allowing an upgrade or option to replace. So incredibly disappointed.
Incredible fail. I haven't seen an LP generator in a full size diesel since 2001 . Unless you went with a Sprinter chassis class B+ with and lp generator and major fail as well.
how do they get the fridge out when it needs replacing? Also is it a 12vt fridge??
Why are they putting the DEF on the passenger side. It makes it difficult to fill from the pump and I won't use bottled.
Thought the cabinets looked thin and cheap. When the sled goes in, the kitchen is impossible.
with the miss information about the towing amount should give you a 50K discount.
Very nice!
Yay it has an oven!!!
MATT!!
Now yall need to review the all new thor 2023 sequence 20j with pop top it looks awesome on a dodge chassis !! I love dodge better than a ford
When you get older you appreciate high back seats for taking a nap in! How many ‘young’ people can afford these rigs? Lol yeah exactly. 🍻
You mentioned no Apple CarPlay. GM, as a whole, no longer supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Still, nice to see a GM chassis instead of Ford!
i can't keep up with your uploads anymore!! i guess more is better!
You guys need to see the sharks 🦈 on shark tank!
How does it not have Android or Apple car play??
Jennifer is on top of it MaTT. She’s giving that info as you speak.
Good job Jennifer.
It appears that it does not have Auto Level. This could be a deal breaker for me as I am somewhat disabled. Otherwise, I like it.
Actually, right before Andrea started the kitchen review, Matt mentioned it does have auto leveling (right by the “house” entrance door).
@@JeffinSouthernTierNY thank you. I must’ve missed it. Market up for being a senior citizen.
Hydraulic auto leveling
Why a propane generator instead of diesel in a diesel motor home?
Huge fail
2 Major dislikes for an RV of this type.
Its unacceptable for the front cab to not be seemless and the rear cap to not be the nicer 1 piece molded style.
Why not 22.5 tires
No arm rest on the front seats.
5 miles per gallon if your lucky
Weird layout. There's barely any space between the theater seats and the dinette. Too cramped in that area. The corner kitchen? I don't know about that. Not enough counter space. I like the size of the shower. But the toilet area is too small. Maybe remove the theater seats and move the kitchen area down, then widen to toilet area.
Corner kitchen sucks! Everything else is pretty good. Not sure I Like the 2 theatre seat chairs, would probably take them out and put in something else. Love the towing capabilities & 4x4!
FYI: Using terms like B+ and Crossover, confuses the buyer...
😂 10:56 Oops!!
There was nothing good about that bathroom. no way it was a PPP
not to mention the door doesn't go to the top. Fire the person that put those chairs in and again a passenger seat that wont recline. It's dark and basically it just sucks, they even screwed up the wet bay.
A super c is on a semi truck chassis this is just a marketing ploy
Likes?
Well, it's okay, sort of...the blah interior decor and the red led lights are tacky. The J-lounge is nice.
Coachmen had a lot of time to see the competition and do better. They didn't. The flip up outside storage doors suck. The red lighting is just werid.
The whole unit reeks of cheap. I wouldn't consider this cheap piece of crap for a second.
Good luck with this mess Coachmen.
I feel like those chairs need arm rests
