I'm going to miss Randy forever now. Now joined at the hip with another favorite singer (along with Gene Clark). This man is opposite of Randy in disposition and that is Mark Lanegan. His life story needs to be told in a movie. His success with conquering his demons is one of the greatest comeback histories of all time. From the time he was a teenage alcoholic to his death from Long - Covid his struggle with drugs and alcohol and someone who couldn't play any musical instrument nor sing a note to one of the greatest and most unique voices of our time. His poetry (and thus, his SONGS)is going to be remembered by many, many generations to come. I realize that Mark might have polarized many fans. But listen to his work with others and you'll see him at his finest. He could sing the blues because he lived the blues. I realize that others had done that but nobody (except maybe Janis) "SOUNDED" like the blues. Right to the end, he was a fighter (read "The Devil In A Coma") right up till his final fight (which he lost). I'm sorry, I have to go cry for Mark and Randy (Mr. Niceguy).
I get the feeling that Chris Thompson is described by two traits that I believe might be true about his personality. 1) he's honest. Won't "bend" the storyline just to be funny or mean. He tells it exactly how it happened. Good, bad, mean spirited or hilarious. 2) He avoids being mean or cruel at all costs. He likes to think well of all the people he's met, or worked with. Always a good word.
The man with the golden voice 🎉

A 29 Gibson 6 string? Wow! A wonderful gift of music!
Super stories and geez a 1929 Gibson as a gift 🎁 wowzers!
his vocals are very distinctive on “no stoppin’ us now” he’s in the background
Arcade is a fine album! Sadly Pat Simmons did not do more solo albums.
What a disappointingly under-rated/recognized singer. He blew me away back in the day when 'Blinded By The Light' was charting here in Australia.
Nice vid, but he never talked about Steve. BTW: are you Canadian or upper midwestern? You said "a-boot" instead of ""a-bout."😋😋
I didn't hear anything about Steve Hackett :(
