1:07 how sweet! Brandon was ready to cancel his date to be with Brenda and cheer her up! That is a loving brother! He always had Brenda's back, always! always kept her secrets from their parents, just like he promised her here. he was the best brother! ❤ the bond between Brandon & Brenda made this show for me, so it sucked when Brenda left, it was not the same anymore not because of the romantic pairings like Brenda&Dylan, but because there was no twins' dynamic anymore, and this show was all about twins' dynamic from day 1!
@Nicole well, Brandon didn't know it until this scene, genius, and so Jim&Cindy didn't know it either. So what does trust in Brandon have to do with it? it's not Brandon's fault that the woman didn't tell him.
This is true but they usually offer some type of settlement either monetary or property wise in exchange you don't get any other assets. She should have had someone with law experience check it out and explain it to her. I can understand why she wouldn't want to go to her father about this.
The problem is people still have this idea about marriage being a fairy tale story when in reality is a business wether you want to accept it or not. Everyone always expect something from their partner, also Stuart being a rich guy has probably met women that only wanted to be with him because of his money so you can't blame him for taking actions in that aspect, it's understandable if that is the reason why he wanted Brenda to agree to sign the prenup. Actually prenups are something pretty common in real life and it happens more than we think, even women that marry a member from a royal family have had to sign prenups.
Especially when the engagement happens after only three weeks. The marriage plot is really forcing some idiotic behaviour by the characters. You they even be engaged after three weeks? Would his parents be that happy about it? Would Brenda not expect there to be some sort of prenup? I thought the way the relationship ends was badly handled also. Too bad because the actors have good chemistry but the writers don’t do them justice.
Brandon is dating a married woman but yet Brenda is the one who Jim doesn't trust. I think Jim and Cindy need to keep an eye on Brandon he's the one getting in over his head.
Lol. But at least he doesn't run off to get married 2 weeks in. I agree Brandon dated a married woman and then looked up Emily Valentine who stalked and drugged him and spent Thanksgiving with her. I think it was realistic that Jim would be more protective over his daughter though than his son. That's just the way that most fathers roll.

There were so many double standards when it came to how the Walsh parents treated Brenda vs Brandon and don't even get me started on how sexist Jim was.
I think it’s hilarious that Brandon didn’t walk right out. His character usually seems the type that would have. Musta been when they started leaning into the soap opera direction.
...y'know, looking back at this (wonky) 4th Season, I find it amazing that the writers didn't push the envelope with the characters, into more 'Adult' situations (2:04) .... Brandon seeing a Married Woman could've opened the character's different sides, and made the Show FINALLY drop it's 'T-een Steam' orgins.... missed opportunity, I tell ya..... (2:14) ....
This is when the show became a nighttime soap also Melrose Place TOOK OFF LIKE A ROCKET at this time so the producers, many of thr same people on MP, decided to make 90210 more Melrose like
Surprised Brandon didn’t take the high road & walk right out. You could tell he was disturbed by it but tried to act cool. Lucinda intimidated him in general & he was trying hard to be cool. Brandon just wasted his time once he stuck around. Can’t trust her.
Prenup also implies that Stuart doesn’t entirely trust her or love her which is no way for a young woman to get married. You know, with the idea of potential divorce in mind. Sure divorces happen but when you’re getting married you’re certain it’s going to last. Prenup is a total killjoy. Don’t marry if you’re not being serious. Date then.
@WateryFire i can ay the same thing in reverse, here goes. If she won't sign it then that means she does not truly love him. So she should only date until she is ready to sign the form. If it's meant to be, they won't divorce and it will be a non issue.

Love how Dylan relates that poem with Brenda 🥹
I saw that too!😍

Protecting the family's assets has nothing to do with love or trust, it's called having a good business sense.

Hollywood always makes it sound like a bad thing maybe because a lot of actors should have go one but don't.

The root problem is when you marry you become PART OF THE FAMILY. It’s not a real family if it’s forever conditional.

Yes excellent point so true!
Well he couldn't run off and marry her as she is married

I’m a guy, not a goat 🐐. But Brandon’s taste in women is BAAAAAAD
always thought the same
She approached him in the gym he didn't approach her
Dylan suddenly a poet lmao😂
I think it’s hilarious that Brandon didn’t walk right out. His character usually seems the type that would have. Musta been when they started leaning into the soap opera direction.
And yet, Jim doesn’t trust Brenda
Brenda was too emotional, her own worst enemy and needed extra oversight.
Brandon's wrong for going along with that
That poem was better than the “hickory dickory dock” one he read for Kelly.
"Then Dylan went up the clock. Then fell down the clock"
god.. these characters are so lovable that i cannot help but keep looking for all these old episodes.. these are great
Brando seems excited for going out with a married woman 🤨
He just learned it while he was on the date at Lucinda's
UNTIL NOW
@@lizvader772 Wait until he learns WHO she is married to
@@lizvader772 ok but its not like he cant get any other woman. he is such a good looking guy
@@UC-Jf_YAvw4Apbz-SAVM3p2A I was being sarcastic
This was pretty much Dina Meyer's first acting role. Pretty darn good, because you would never know it.
Wasn’t she in Birds of Prey first or was that after this show? Also was Starship Troopers after this?
@@pauldesigncomics2625 Starship Troopers was in 97 so yeah it was a few years after this.
I think she was in Melrose place too? She hooked up with Billy. I could be wrong.

Lucinda’s a world traveler

I had the biggest crush on Brenda Walsh, and Dylan was the man.
Brandon and Lucinda 🌶🌶🌶
EEEWWW
How could she be married to that old man?
Brendan and Dylan look in their early 30s not high school 😂😂
I would say Brandon looks about 23/24 here. Which is how old Jason Priestley was at the time.
@@supermilkguy Priestley
@@MojoPin1983 thanks. I’ve corrected
What, you’ve never dated an actress before????
ho fo sho

IF she never wants it...she would have no problem signing it would she?
That kiss was gross
If Brenda loves stewie, sign the prenuptial. Why should she have access to his family money if the marriage fails?
Exactly
By law, if you don't sign a contract, you inherit your partner's fortune or family wealth

@karima_MK exactly, so she just sign it and stop acting like a child
