Made 1000whp on an m52 and ran a 9.9x @ 155+ while keeping ac, heat and heated leather seats 🤣Bottom mount as well with a tubular manifold from PPF in sweden.

1khp and running a 9.9 is slow as fuck. i run low 10s on about 600hp...
@@RoxxPC it was 2005 using bmw components on the factory 16x7 wheel. There was no boost by gear or traction aids. 4 door 3100 pound car.. We were the first in the 9s so it was the fastest of its kind. Oh and I also was running 10s with 600 hp before the quest for 9s. Whats a pro drag racer like yourself running 10s in??

@@RoxxPC so a platform that's already been figured out. 10s now a days with that chassis is not impressive, especially with an auto🤣.
Really enjoyed seeing the technical side of the build with the compressor housing modification at the end, the down pipe and exhaust fab and exhaust housing external Wastegate.
I have an E46 s54 sedan up here in Atlanta as well and had to go through all of that with my build. Exhaust housing modification, scavenger pump system. (I used the fuel pump relay signal as the trigger for my scavenge pump so it primed with the fuel pump and didn't run when engine was off)
it's really cool seeing how other people think outside the box and add their creative spin on getting things done the right way.
Looking forward to the next video to see more.

Just a heads up, hole saws suck. They’re great for carpenters and sheetmetal but you need “annular cutters” they are whole saws on steroids. Carbide options and hss. Use them in my machine shop and to cope rollcage tubing. They’re expensive but last 10x longer than holesaws and you get a better cut and size.
Them Canadian's get down!! By the way.. Up here round Jersey and Philly, we say.. Jawns.. We need some more of them Jawns. Lol! I said that once in a Walmart in NC, and the guy working there that I said it to, asked if I was from Philly or Jersey. Haha! Anywho, a budget build sounds sick, especially in a sedan.

I need somebody to drop a plug and play harness for a 1jz swap into the e9x chassis already 😢. You guys already have the perfect swap kit for it and i wanna push buy now but don't wanna deal with a one off custom harness deal where it turns the car into a racecar instead of a street car that retains all the creature comforts.

95% has 91 and not 94

Get a upgraded damper for the s54 and replace the 4 bolts holding it. Bmw states they are stretch bolts and require a torque sequence. Good luck 👍👍

Go g30 660 on the 1jz vvti. Comes on like stock and make anywhere from high 400 to low 500 depending on cams and fuel setup.

That clutchmasters 850 twin is not the most fun for street driving...not sure if you went for the organic disks or the cerametalic one. If Adam ends up not liking the super on/off, grabby feel of it, southbend makes a really streetable single disk setup that held around 650wtq on my last turbo s54.
Agreed. Had the 850 for my setup and I hated it at first. I got used to it driving on the street, but compared to what I have now, DKM Stage 3 w/ organic clutches, it suuuuuucks lol. DKM holds everything, chatter is low, and it feels like stock as far as slippage and engagement while being SUPER streetable. Love it. CM is only good for drifting and roll racing. Daily driving, hell no.
@Von Knight 100% agree. It literally took me an entire summer to get used to my cm 850 and I still don't really like it. Almost no slip at all and ridiculously grabby. Does hold the power though. I had a southbend stage 3 endurance clutch prior to that which was remarkably smooth and awesome for the street. My wife loved it...she won't drive my car with the cm 850 now lol.

The V10 M5s are killer only reason there not big and you can find them cheap is because the V10 is not reliable unless you build them and the SG trans kind of sucks as well

I find it weird that the BMW uses ITBs instead of Valvetronic. Valvetronic basically uses the intake valve lift act as the throttle, which provides the engine fully variable valve lift. It should provide better throttle response than ITBs.
S55 uses valvetronic. They pick and choose where to use the fancy tech.

YES! Finally the right engine in the right car! This LS epidemic has been really getting boring. Yes it's a great engine andd it's wonderful to have V8 power and support. BUT it's nothing special (Well I guess a little bit when put into an E46). But the S54 is SPECIAL! Go boys GO!!

S85 sound is just on another lever, sounds different from Ferrari and Lambo V10's, it sounds better, not sure if the firing order is different.
Get a rota broach bit rather than a hole saw bit for drilling holes like that

Hokey Poop Flingin Crap Monkeys!! That V10 ROCKS!! People cry about the BMW V10 being so brittle and having Rod Bearing problems etc. But WOW! That thing is BEYOND! Seriously BEYOND! Full Red line for lap after lap then the exhaust junction catches on melting full FIRE! They put it out by pouring water down the shift hole get back in it and drift it full Red line for lap after lap AGAIN! MANUAL V10 BMW = The GOAT BABY!! Oh and it did all of this with FOUR FULLY GROWN (and some over grown LOL) Men in the car!!! INSANE!! Then I find out they are CANADIAN!! Just like ME!! LOL! AWESOME!

Not sure what hellrot garage ran but I think he was able to avoid the turbo scavenge pump and not sure on the sensor situation. Anybody ?

@@Vgk36 no its different m50-m54 are all the same and maybe compatible with s50-52 but im not sure but they are not compatible with s54
