I never got to do this with my budgies in a regular basis but I did have them trained well enough that they would fly around the house, but autonomously return to their cage at night. One of them couldn’t fly, so he would walk to the room where the cage was and chirp until someone came running to pick him up and put him in the cage.
today my new budgie let me scratch him like this after two weeks 😭I wish i could recored it to show to my friends and family 😭❤ I hope he let me scratch him again❤❤❤

@@luckygames8049 Maybe they don't like that you want to scratch them with your claws. Try using your nose, it looks more like their beak.
