Thanks for bringing us along for the ride. That knife looks like a genuine old man's knife. Like great grandaddy's knife that he used for everything! I like it a lot!
@@oldsouthforge831 Thank you man its great seeing all the work you put into making these knives. When the time is right I'm see about getting you to make me a good hunting knife.
This knife turned out beautifully. Great craftsmanship demonstrated in these videos. I am curious about the stock that you are using for these knives. Can you provide any details on the source of your steel and why you choose to use it? Thanks again and God bless you. -Tennessee Smoky
Hi: Could you do a video on coloring antler and bone. I don't use a lot of it because I've never been any good at getting a nice "antique" look. I use all Curly Maple and other figured woods. Thank you. God bless: Two Feathers Proprietor of: The Mountain Man Emporium
Beautiful knife. What did you use to stain the handle? It looks nice, though I myself would've perhaps sanded it a little bit on top the color to highlight the antler pattern. Cheers!
Beautiful craftsmanship!!!
Beautiful!!! I normally make full-tang knives. You have inspired me to try your method with a hidden tang.
Thank you sir!! It’s good to hear this
What a great little knife. Well done!

Love your blades. I try to do it the same way.

Wondering if you would share the coloring of the deer horn and explain how you do the bolster. Nice video. Thanks

Another great video Chad. When are you going to do one showing you preparing the handle for the tang and the bolster?
Thanks Eddie. I guess I could show the drilling for the hole in the antler
