Agree with video. Just bought myself one and it does everything you need and nothing you don’t. Simple and intuitive buttons, small form factor, long battery life, customizable screens and a good value. Saves my phones battery which lasts just over an hour if recording on Strava. Still use my phone to get directions if necessary bc bike computer navigation is terrible anyway. Lack of touch screen means less to screw up. The right level of technology in my opinion. Well done Lezyne.
Thanks for sharing your review. My wife and I have been using the lezyne y10 super & macro gps for about 3months now, & find it worth every buck. All essential features have been fit into these units, & especially love the lezyne track function 😎
Purchased as Loaded Bundle. Great value for the money. Installed on a 2017 Merida Scultura 200 as Bike 1 and a 2018 Scott Scale 970 as Bike 2 (paired in this case with two Magene Gemini 210 sensors for speed and cadence). My only concern is that -don't know why- the HRM suddenly registered 207+ bpm on a flat leisure ride, but that was an isolated episode. Sort of design flaw is the absence of a security strap (like Garmin units), but the Direct X-Lock mount is really strong, so I guess Lezyne found it useless. You have to be pretty careful with the Forward GPS Mount when locking and unlocking the unit.
Dude some of these comments are vicious. Good review bro keep chugging away. I'm looking for a cycle computer so I can use a cadence meter and speed sensor on a cycle trainer. This was helpful. If I was going to offer a suggestion to improve your reviews I'd say get a note book, watch a ton of reviews and make notes on what you like about them. Then figure out how they did it and make an attempt to ape it. Camera angles, editing and all that.
Nice review, just purchase a Mega C, its small, clear, color is great. It is missing most of my MTB trails but I can use Komoot plans with Lezyne Mega and this fill the gap for the lack of mtb trails in Lezyne root maps.
Adding the newer non magnet Garmin Bike Speed Sensor and Cadence Sensor will help with heavy tree trail coverage (MTB) and poor GPS areas, so auto pause will record same time when on or off on a non-stop ride. Also when you are on rollers this allows you to record your ride. You have not listed a forward style mount, please add this product to your post since you are a Amazon affiliate.
hi i would like to know if with this gps i can create a route with an app in my phone like ¨bikemap¨ or ¨strava¨ and send it to the gps? Or with the app on the phone se the route turn by turn in the gps live? what i´m looking for is a gps that i don´t need to have my phone in the handlebar
Does the Lezyne Super GPS have the ability to sync with Garmin Vector 3 pedals using the split power phase - or right and left readings? Where are the Power meter with shimano pedals coming soon from Lezyne?
I don't own pedal power meters myself but according to a review "lezyne super navigate gps loaded bundle" be WeSport it would show both let and right. But like i said just from another review and not personal experience.
I like the computer, but occasionally after loading a route to it, it won’t begin turn by turn navigation. The app says there’s been an error, and to check the computer, but no matter how many times I reload the route, it won’t begin navigation. It’s quite frustrating because I bought the computer after getting off route in the last two competitive century rides I did, causing me to lose touch with the main group.Any ideas?
Depends. It is still a great GPS and allows you to keep your phones battery up, but for short rides using your phone is just as good. I liked it for longer rides so I didn’t drain my phones battery just tracking my rides.
I've never used a Garmin so can't comment on that. I just picked up a Super GPS today and it seems pretty good so far. The only real downside I've discovered is that the screen is not as clear as my previous computer (Wahoo Elemnt Mini). It has a backlight to make up for it though. Time will tell whether or not it's a keeper.
Probably one of the most amateurish reviews I have ever watched. Especially enjoyed the fumbling efforts to attach the unit to its mount. Also I appreciated the way you were able to continually catch the glare of the ceiling light as you tilted the unit back and forth in your hands. I know you said Lezyne sent you the unit for free; I’m thinking they may want it back. OMG !

Go easy on the guy, he's new. Decent effort and spoke clearly, well done.
Thanks, always looking for ways to improve

+Adrian Alvarez totally agree...this computer is awesome!
Does it work with gps foward bar mount lezyne has on their website?
Is there a way to adapt it to a similar mount as Garmin? I have one of those stem mounts and I'd like to use that with this?
hi! thx for the review.
1) heartrate sensor - ANT+?
2)Does it have navigation? can i plan a tour on my pc and transfer it to Lezyne super GPS?

Can we download a .gpx file on this computer and see a map of the route and not use our phone on the bike at all?
Whats up with the thumbs down? The review is fine.
Thanks for a this good useful in depth review. Is is still worth purchasing it today 2020? Especially in relation the GPS mapping.

Yeah, I purposefully do mine a bit different and more raw, but I am always changing how I am doing them. Thanks for the suggestions

I honestly don’t know since I do not have them, I will see what I can find

Bad download? Could happen on any bicycle computer!
From what I've heard when you load a route it uses breadcrumb trails. You only get turn by turn if you create a route from the Lezyne ally v2 app.
can you pair your phone and the powermeter at the same time ?
You should be able to no problem.
good review like this one,,, when I was looking up specs about lezyne just hearing his voice kinda sounds like Paul Rudd lolz
Thank you, it is very useful. Would you think it's still worth buying even now?

Does this unit wireless sync?
You will need to sync it to the Lezyne ally v2 app on your phone via bluetooth once you have finished the ride for it to sync wirelessly.
URGENT!: do you need a lezyne speed/cadence sensor to to pair with this computer, or can you use for example a Garmin sensor? TIA

lightbulbjim thanks a lot!! Would you recommend this or a Garmin??
I've never used a Garmin so can't comment on that.

lightbulbjim thanks. I’m on the edge about buying this for mtb and riding on my trainer
You help me out so much
very nice
did you place it facing the light on propose so we cant see a thing..?
I did not...something I obviously overlooked. I apologize.
Its five star
thx
Thank you
Sorry but for a not-native english speaker very challenging to follow, although used to speak english very often
No problem
