WHAOOOO NO WAY Neetcode just watched my video!!!! Been watching your videos on my personal account since you first started. You've been doing such an amazing job!. Wow this is soooo surreal.
clicked on this video thinking whatever i'll just watch this in the background, youtube vids are usually surface level anyways. but you covered literally every topic there is to know as far as interviews go. great work
Cool man. I liked the straight approach, go step by step and modify it according to the requirements, and dont get distracted about phase 5 when you are at phase 3. Great insights. Great Value.
Awesome video!! One more thing we can think off is to use some kind of queue or pub-sub mechanism to delegate task like sending mails, notifications etc. This will make our main APIs faster
There is a huge difference between knowing terms, understanding details about terms, working with terms and being able to implement the terms into a system.
You can also partition a database on time. If your data typically pages by month, you can get the next month's data from a new server. If that doesn't scale you'd split it by weeks, then days, and so on.
hmmm that could work. I think the only thing to consider is what if you update a page a year ago and you're adding new content now. It might be a bit to find out where your data is and which partition.
The partitioning of SQL databases is somewhat like linked lists: everyone asks about it in interviews, but no one actually uses it-and for good reasons.
I thought system design is another type of hard skill and need to learn it separately. But you have just combined all my subjects in cse like dbms, operating systems. Now i can confidently add system design in my resume😅
@@kikisbytes Thank You! You have no idea how well you have explained this. I will share this to every CS aspirant. They will end up saving a lot of time
