just my opinion, but does anyone else think that jessica doesn't exude the character of beverly as an adult in the way that sophia did? I get she's grown up now and had an abusive spouse- which may have made her more reserved, but I just wasn't getting the same 'beverly' vibe from her that I did when watching sophia act. the way sophia played beverly held such charisma, at the same time giving off a 'cool and collected vibe.' even when afraid, she didn't come off as scared- it's like she tried to put on a strong face each day. the way jessica is just makes it seem as if her version of beverly is a soft-spoken girl whose constantly worried, which is her expression for a lot of the runtime, and gets frightened easily. idk, I just didn't see them as the same person, especially when it's supposed to be believed that sophia's beverly turns into jessica's beverly eventually. I feel like casting had a lot to do with, of course looks- and definitely because jessica is a phenomenal actress, but I feel like they were like 'oh! jessica chastain is a red head with similar facial features!' but I feel like the energy and personality did not mix at all.
i honestly never noticed this, mostly because i tend to not pay much attention when watching a movie. looking back, i definitely get where you're coming from. beverly seemed like a “rebellious” teenage girl while jessica made her much more “adult business woman” if you kind of get what i'm saying.
I agree, young Beverly was really spunky, and the older Beverly just seemed to have lost all of her spirit. Jessica played her really quiet and vulnerable, when I don't feel like that was Beverly at all. I also don't think they look alike much to be fair, I never saw the big similarity. Their faces are completely different. I really wanted it to be Amy Adams, but if they wrote her a bit more like the old Beverly, that would have definitely helped.
I think it was because when they leave they forget everything. If you saw in the 2nd one bev complied to what her dad wanted and you could totally see the way the adult bev acted. (Scared and soft spoken)
I totally get the boredom they start to show as they answer these same unoriginal questions over and over again lol Imagine spending time to go to an interview just to repeat yourself. I feel like all the interviewers are trying so hard to push this idea that the kids and adults who played these characters were best friends on set, held hands, sang nursery rhymes, and made friendship bracelets together 🤣 like yea its cute, and it's nice that they were friendly and bonded a bit on set, but that's not everything! And tbh it doesnt seem like that was the main vibe coming from the actors either, _all_ of them seem to have been more film focused and professional on set, which is awesome. This movie was a handful, I wanna know what it was like for the actors personally. I do love how none of them are shying away from their honesty though ahah all these actors are great!
Man it’s so hard to watch these bc every time I see Andy or James i wanna cry and I have to remind myself theyre still alive it was just their characters. Which makes me cry even more 😭😭
Love this video doing press for such a big movie becomes repetitive when they get so many of the same questions I watched many of the interviews and I missed a few of these hilarious moments but re-watching it its so clear how both groups decided to either be really nice or sarcastic as hell depending on how they were bantering together I don't really take any of it serious none of us actually know thier true feelings on each other just leave it at that.

Jack is so mature for his age
“Mature”
It's the hats.
I think he’s kinda immature tbh
He is mature but immature then some kid who’s seems like there on drugs
lol
When Jack meowed I just lost it
16:23 is Jessica Chastain ASLEEP!?
Isaac Barbeau no she’s looking at the ground but it looks like she has her eyes closed from the angle
@@jess_k6281 ahh, that makes sense..
Only the og’s will remember the original title of the video
why did jack just go 'meow'
Because thats just Jack XD
Kids: They are really talented and did a pretty good job playing the characters.
Adults: In preparation for the role I watched the movie on the plane.
oy! oy! im from scotland. oy! my pops!
u can tell that they're so tired of answering the same questions
the tension between them, it just creates chaos.
i love this cast with my whole heart
Which makes me cry even more 😭😭
I died when Finn did a Bill impression.
Jack really hates Bill, maybe he always makes fun of this kid 🤣🤣🤣
The fact that Jack meowed in this video that contains James bein' like "that kid's a freak" LOL
“SpEeD dAtIng ThInG”-almost the whole cast 2019 🤣🤣💀
Both bill and Finn are wearing the same shoes , both have Stan smiths
21:40 fucking wyatt man jsjxjsj ‘i’M anDy bEaN’
That’s a good point about jack dylan grazer and about how fast his mind works.
I love how in one of the interviews, Bill and Finn are wearing the same shoes
“Bill Hader’s down to earth? Really? Hilarious.” 😂😂😂
"I would NOT want to grow up to be like Eddie"
i was like; we know but HEY!
Love this video doing press for such a big movie becomes repetitive when they get so many of the same questions I watched many of the interviews and I missed a few of these hilarious moments but re-watching it its so clear how both groups decided to either be really nice or sarcastic as hell depending on how they were bantering together I don't really take any of it serious none of us actually know thier true feelings on each other just leave it at that.
this is incredible
Finn: “He’s one of my biggest hero’s”
Me: 🥺🥺🥺
Thank you very much for this video! Very well done.
Does anyone else notice that jack is always wearing a hat
Yea it looks stoopit
hes balding
@@elliotti8698 i laughed
Ava Riggs he had to bleach his hair for another movie role and legally wasn’t allowed to show it so he had to wear a hat
@@starfiyaharts ok
The casting for the older versions was so dead on! Not to mention they’re all great actors/actress as well. Absolute perfection!
Omfg, WHY IS JAEDEN SO SOFT!?! He has such a low voice tone and he’s so chill! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!! They’re all precious beans!!!
“ayeee, old spice”
i cant get over that little fuckeng “meow” at 2:02
i don't know how i got here. i clicked for chris fleming and stayed for the cast of it 2.
I like how precocious the kids are... I'm finding out a lot of drama with the adults from the kids' interviews
why do they refer to james ransome as PJ
amelia cool not to confuse him with James McAvoy, it’s just his nickname from friends
The p stands for penis stop asking
it stands for Pleasegive Jamesanoscar
Myia Shanton you’re right everyone else thinks it stands for something else but that’s what it really means
ik he meant it as a compliment but hearing pj go, "that kid's a FREAK." made me lose my shit
Which interview is the 7:23 moment from? Does anyone have a link to that interview, please ? Lol i want to see the full interview cause that was straight up savageeeeee ahaha
it seems like the kids have some kind of inside joke about andy bean lol
andy bean and wyatt oleff has my heart
1:57 just a reply button for me for research
“There’s no killing in this one”
Me:but...the kid... that bill was trying to keep alive...and...he....died right.....?
😐
Yay! Andy Bean is in it for once
Notice how happier jack looks with Finn at 19:49 compared to the rest of the video without finn
1:54 "meow"
Thank you for doing God’s work
love the title
I love how wyatt kinda throws shade towards andy bean but I know hes kidding
