@@savedbychrist23 If you take your time you can do it, I know of a person in the DFW area that teaches the dance, I will see if he knows a person in the Houston area.
Much appreciated My fiance has been dancing for over ten years. She trys to teach me . I get distracted with her . I've been to a class here in Houston. I became frustrated and didn't go back . I just have to keep trying like you said . I'm going to watch your videos and add to the basic moves That I'm learning. Thank you
Although she's saying 123 step up/back, she's not taking 3 steps. They s:b saying forward/backward, turn , privet etc. Blind people should be able to follow.
She is taking 4 steps most of the time. The 1,2,3, usually corresponds with the balls of her feet hitting the floor, and then the step up or back. In turns you want to glide through the turn on the balls of the toes of one foot for the duration of the count and they take the step. The most important part is the timing of the stepping (back and up) of the feet in between moves. When I made the video, I made it explicitly for people who took my class to review, we had no blind people in the class so no need to explain it like such, though I do understand what you are saying. I would have made a separate video explaining it differently if I were explaining to the blind.
Love the video
