He actually took his quirk away and gave it to all for one. Soon later in the show, you can see a flying nomu (idk the name) but really it was just the boy with the red wings. So yes, his father turned him into a nomu. Also people also believe that toga himiko’s quirk was Deku’s og quirk that afo stole. I hope this helps for people who are confused 😌
