Oh my goodness. As you were talking about the Amber Oud ruby I said gasoline at same time as you! Paulina…..exactly! And I was so excited I purchased two of them from Jomashop Because I loved the amber rude rouge. I can’t believe it’s so different it is disgusting

Paulina I also do not like the al haramain amber oud ruby edition. Mine does not smell like gasoline to me (more disinfectant! 😂) but it is totally missing the point with duping BR 540 extrait: that one is smooth and kinda creamy but light and this dupe is scratchy and smells like disinfectant almost 😂 I am letting mine macerate to see if it improves 😅

I would keep Micallef Spiritual just because of the bottle😍 a piece of art🥰I have it myself and although I prefer Erba pura over it I will not declutter because the bottle is just so stunning🩷
Paulina, if fragrances suddenly change on you - also check what they have in common - it could be that there's, for example, a hormonal change going on in your body. It could also be that you've changed your diet, what you eat, or are maybe taking medication.
I suddenly have musky fragrances smell like that very cheap white toothpaste and saliva, blegh 😢. About 90% of patchouli perfumes smell extremely dirty-earthy, like a root cellar. I went into early onset menopause, which most likely caused the patchouli issue (which s**ks, because a few of my old faves have patchouli) as it started around the same time. The musk issue started when I began intramuscular injections for an illness. Skin chemistry, how fragrances respond, is linked to what happens in your body. If you've indeed changed your eating pattern, or started meds, you might see what happens with the weird dustiness once you go back to the old situation - if that's possible.
[DON'T DECLUTTER EVERYTHING JUST YET: TIP]
Secondly: @PaulinaSchar I have no idea how you store your fragrances, but if you keep a lot of bottles outside of their original boxes and you need extra space, I would like to suggest 360° organisers. I get them on Amazon most of the time. After I became chronically ill and permanently disabled my income took a nose dive, like 40% of what it was before I got ill. Result: forced move to tiny, dishevelled home. This meant I had to declutter the majority of books and go digital (every bookworm will understand the pain of that), and also means I never have more than just two shelves in a dark, cool closet for all the boxed fragrances I currently let macerate/ that are for sale/I don't use because of the season/ don't use as much + the empty boxes of the ones I use. The other bit of storage space is the top of my 1.60m bedroom dresser. As my thick bedroom curtains are always closed, there's never any sun coming in, nor hitting my dresser. So the fragrances I wear a lot/at this moment I keep on the dresser out of the box. With 2 big cats, I can't just put down several glass bottles. But more importantly: I usually have at least half of my +/- 200 bottle collection out. This means that this 1.60m (40cm deep) stretch of wood needs help to hold about 100 perfume bottles, as well as a TV, my bodymists, and a few other things.😊
Hence, the 360 storage (a so-called Lazy Susan with 2 or 3 tiers, that's normally used for kitchen storage, can be an option as well if you don't like the smaller triangular shelfies of the 360). I have one big 360 - I can't find these wider spacey ones anywhere anymore - and 2 slightly smaller ones. A 4th stands on my night table with all my skincare and meds. Maybe a 5th - a 4th on the dresser - will be placed on the dresser as I have my eyes on several new Middle Eastern fragrances: original dna and dupes of discontinued perfumes. So, bye bye TV. Who needs a TV when you can have fragrances, right?
The big one carries about 32 bottles and a few decants. The two smaller ones have approximately 22-24 bottles each, with one containing several perfume oils and about 20 mini vials of 2ml decants on the top. The other has quite a lot of "minis" - like 10ml roll-ons and sprays or 20 to 30ml vials on the top. In total, that comes to approx 100 fragrances in just three of those 360 organisers. If there are perfumes that you'd like to keep, you could consider getting a few of them and place them randomly on some of the shelves where you normally keep everything. If they're too high a 2 tier Lazy Susan might do the trick. The beauty of both is that they turn completely (360°), making it very easy to get to your fragrances. Maybe this will help you keep a few more you really love. I mean, the way you responded to the Guerlain Velours and the two with the difficult names in the pretty bottles... I wish for you to keep them. 😂

@PaulinaSchar, well, you can, and I hope you do so, definitely film more without any makeup! You are gorgeous 😍. You look phenomenal with those cute freckles (yay, fellow freckle queen ;).) on absolutely beautiful glowy skin. Trust me, you don't need foundation and all that stuff. Besides, with your lash extensions, your eyes are still jumping out at us, as it looks like you still wear mascara/ liner, etc.
