Just purchased the L' Ambre des Merveilles and I cannot wait to try. I'm also interested in the Alien Oud. Great list.
Thought i would just give you guys my opinion on alien oud,please dont waste your money if anyone is thinking of blind buying it,i did,thought it would be amazing,as personally love oud,and love the original alien ( i have it of course ) and i thought jasmine and oud combo would be amazing.
Well sorry to say it was waste of money,im not sure what this girl is smelling,but all i get is a slight woody smell for about the first 10 mins top,and then its just the original alien again,i think they forget to put the oud in lol if you have the original alien,you dont need this one,its not worth the money,it also does not have half the lasting power of the original one either!.If you dont want to trust my opinion go on fragnatica and read other peoples views on it,there are a fair few who share my opinion.
I love dark sexy oriental woody fragrance,its my favourite type, i also know a fair bit about fragrance i am just trying to help,if you want to get into oud and not have to pay to much,try some of the arabian fragrance houses,eg lattafa,al haramain,ard al zafaraan,to name just a few,these are some of the best,they produce quality fragrance,for the most part at very reasonable prices and they do actually have real oud in,and my god they last on the skin,and some are beast mode.Just do your research on them,and check out reviews before you buy,when it comes to oud,that is the way to go guys. ( i dont like fecal smelling oud either ) Just the good stuff.

I am getting Poison Girl for autumn/winter 🍂🍂. I have got Girl of Now 😉. One of my favourite and sexy fragrance it is Marc Jacobs Decadence EDP. Smells amazing on me and I always get compliments 😍
These days I am trying most of my perfumes and getting rid of those which can't say anything interesting to me. When you are at home you can appreciate scents better and besides, one has to give life a little pleasure. A big hug from Madrid

I discovered Dior Addict in 2006 and immediately it became my signature scent It had amazing lasting power and smelled expensive. I didn't find it overly sweet/vanilla at first but over time I could only use it in autumn/winter as the vanilla became a bit overwhelming to me. I switched to Alien:)
Ps A sexy perfume in my collection( rarely mentioned) is Boudoir (powdery,floral,spicy,aromatic,balsamic,woody) by Vivienne Westwood

That beginning "fecal" note you speak of is what keeps me away from trying ANY oud fragrance. I have a sample of Lancome's Oud Bouquet that I still need to try. LOL
Lancome's Oud Bouquet is one of Demi Rawling's favorite perfumes. She talks about it a lot on her You Tube channel. It's very pricey that's for sure.

I bought Hypnotic Poison last week and I noticed it kind of had an opening that smelled like play doh to me. I went apple picking later in the day and got so many compliments though ❤️ guess I’m keeping it. Loveeee your videos btw .

Try Mon Guerlain Intense! I got a little sample from Sephora and I’m in love!! Lavender and vanilla heaven and it lasted until the next day on me. But it’s so expensive still can’t find a decent sale for it, maybe because it’s still quite new.
I have and love Olympia intense too but my boyfriend said it’s just ok..
oh and I just bought Valentino Donna and it’s nice but it doesn’t last on me at all! 😢

I agree with you on Poison Girl, Hypnotic Poison, Dior Addict, Girl of Now and Mon Guerlain. Crystal Noir smells awful on my skin (my mom and brother told me I stank when I wore it). I haven't tried other fragrances you mentioned. :)

Great list and I love your mini reviews comparing the flankers and noting the concentration-edt vs edp. Super helpful for those that blind buy. Do you find that girl of now smells like scandal (by night)? I don’t have the original only ‘by night’. I was wishing that I had the original, maybe less intense, less smoky. I tried on my decant that I have of GON- I swear it smelled like a toned down version of scandal by night (less smoke and honey). What do you think?
Hi my dear - I don't remember how scandal by night smells :( :( but the original is very honey and girl of now is mostly almond/nutty on me with a lot of sweetness.

Well, on me Valentino- Donna doesn’t really smell sexy, but very light, mature, fruity floral on me. Exciting, how different the perfume experiences of us all are :)

I hear a lot of people describing Alien as a sexy scent. It must be something about my chemistry because on me, it's a man repellant! My husband, co-workers, male friends etc have all expressed their hatred for it and have likened it to Lysol wipes.
Demi used to call it a clubbing scent. I would never wear that to the club!

I got my olympiea today and im in love 😍😀 omg its so lovley fragrance, now its gonna be one of my favorits aswell. Did get 50ml of it, did just check if there is a 100ml of it, but couldnt see more then 80ml. Is 80ml The bigest bottle of olympiea paulina?
80 ml is the biggest one and I always get it in this size

Alien Absolue is a sexy fragrance. I tried Alien the original, travel spray gave that away. I don't like Oud 🙁. I am 1/2 middle eastern. It just reminds of me my Dad and brothers, rockin their cologne oils lol. I will pass lmao. I wish I like it. 😊

Julie, I know Lataffa has a Paris corner for middle eastern ladies that are not so much into oud. I may give them a go but see reviews before you buy. Nice prices but, as yet, I still haven't tried.

That being said …. I would recommend trying Poison Girl Unexpected (edt). Its a little bit more 'girly' in the sense that it is quite sweet but Its still surprisingly unique and maintains that almond note. :)
I love Viva La Juicy Couture Gold. It's sexy, it's long lasting, it's not sickeningly sweet, the gold bottle is beautiful not in anyway childish, it's good for layering with some other scents, and I'm so glad I was able to find it and add it to my perfume. I also love love love Alien and that root beer vibe, and it's very long lasting on my skin! I also love Black Opium, and it has great staying power on me!! I also love TF Black Orchid and just a smidget goes a long way, TF Velvet Orchid and TF Patchouli, but TF perfumes are way overpriced. JM perfumes smell great, but agree no staying power. I love JM orange one though and great for summer. I also love Light Blue Intense EDP and layer with light blue Zest when I want to change up LB Intense. Regular light blue is essentially a skin scent to me, but the light blue body cream oomphs the lasting power and I don't mind topping up and respraying just carry it with me. There are really no perfumes I totally dislike, but no matter how hard I've tried to like the original Chanel No5 (which I own) I just can't like it. And, it's ridiculously overpriced. Coco M is beautiful and feminine on the other hand. But again, it's a matter of personal opinion and lots of people love the iconic Chanel No5. I agree, perfume is very personal and to each their own.
I tried so hard to like Dior addict but... it is awful. I don't like it at all. *edit* I just looked it up and it was the edp. So maybe I'll try the EDT but maybe not. The edp is so bad I'm turned off. Lol I doubt like oud so I'll stick to the 3 aliens that I own. The rest of this list is outstanding. Olympea Legend is stunning as well. The dry down is pure perfection. I own all 5 Olympea's. I also love G.O.N. but I prefer Girl of Now Shine. Can't go wrong with either.

Paulina Schar I had a small sample and at first sniff I didn’t like the opening at all! Then I was driving and caught a few whiffs on my hand and loved the dry down. I had a tiny bit left in the sample and tried it a second time and didn’t really like it. Clearly I’m very confused! Lol

Hypnotic poison is just simple vanilla perfume. Is it considered to be sexy? Don’t think so! Do you want sexy? Try Versace Eros and Valentino Donna Born in Roma.
disagree. maybe you tried a bad batch! on me the burnt almonds and Jacaranda woods are strong, giving a lot of woody layer to this scent
