  • While I was editing, the taskbar froze one more time, and it was all fine after crashing. Hopefully, this is the last time.

    Hey Andrew,
Have you tried disabling Delivery Optimization? I also had this problem and since I turned it off, my computer has been a lot smoother! You should go to Settings > Update & Security > Delivery Optimization and turn it off. If it's turned on, it copies windows update files from your computer to other computers in your local network or the opposite and slows down your computer A LOT.

Microsoft really pulled an Apple move on Windows 10.

  • @lukeb7954

    I think I know what’s up
We all know that Windows is built upon legacy code for backwards compatibility and that gives Windows bugs. However, I think Microsoft is also using that as an excuse just to be lazy with their OS. An example of this is the File Explorer dark theme. They had the right tools, but half-assed it basically saying to us, “oh we can’t Windows is built upon legacy code.”
This officially marks the downfall of Microsoft ladies and gentlemen. Get ready and have your Linux install media with you.

That's pretty common with Windows 10. Windows 11 is worse. That's why I upgraded from 11 to 10.
Aside from that, how'd you rate CS2?

Some of these issues make no sense. Earlier this year in March my computer randomly bricked itself and refused to get to the logon screen without a BSoD (which I fixed by using system restore), and I have no idea why it happened, but I guess that’s just Windows

I think it's Nvidia driver's fault, not Windows. I had only one glitch (a long ago) with Windows 11, with HD 4000 only.
And none issues with Windows 10, with RX 6600 on another PC.
*apart from theme inconsistency (because of Auto Dark Mode)

my guess on what it may be is like this happens if you have windows on (sleep counts too) for a long time then it starts lagging asf i think it may be some sort of a memory leak or smth not sure

not sure why but my windows 10 install was getting more and more unreliable, locking up on right click, icons loosing their image. even after clearing icon cache, doing a SFC and a DISM restore, it still was being flaky, ended up just getting a new ssd and installing windows 11 on it.

Well at least they don't force it down your throat by installing it anyways, like they did with win10.
Remember that? When they gave you a option to choose to download it or not, and they would still download it, regardless if you chose "no"? Yeah. Fun times.
