I wish everyone is like you, anyone else can just force the bolts to go in and not fix the frame and will end up with uneven gabs and sell it as is but props to you for taking the time and money fix the car to be %100 how it came from the factory. Huge respect my dude

We understand the struggle man! Unexpected surprises are just a part of the process when fixing any car with damage. We've had a few on our own E90 M3 that we are currently rebuilding.
Wassup Bro! OE vs Genuine is the difference of the ///M and/or BMW logo branded/stamped into the part. OEM does mean something slightly different.
To use the TRW control arm for example: It is OE because they are the SUPPLIER of that part for BMW. That part becomes a GENUINE BMW part because it’s installed at the factory (plus the ///M in the M Division shop) and sold by BMW or authorized retailer like FCP Euro, as Genuine.
Control arms kept by TRW, are required by BMW to have the logos filed down/removed and are sold to places like FCP Euro, ECS Tuning, and others to sell aftermarket.
It’s a common misconception and commonly asked question, so I hope this helps you and your channel supporters out 👍🏽💯

The oe from FCPeuro is the same exact part as the oem just without the bmw logo. Same manufacturer jus without the bmw tax
