Great video but there is no mention of what model remote starter is being used. Also you didn't show how to do the anti-theft interface under the steering column. You say at the beginning you will show us later in the video.
Hello. Great video! I installed a avital 4105l. Remote start won’t activate the heater/climate control. Once I put my key in ignition and turn to run position the heater will then turn on. Also my headlights AND parking lights come on with remote start Instead of just parking lights. I didn’t bother tapping into door locks because I need the relay or resister wire so I’ll just use my factory fob to unlock doors.
I installed a remote start on 2004 with grey key and used idatalink alca. J was successful on remote starting it and followed the wiring diagram but i was not able to get door lock and unlock through data like you stated...what am i missing here?
man there are some bad cuts in this video... All you showed us was hooking up the "analog lock wire" then all of a sudden the lock, unlock, and trunk release work. I then noticed you had actually did connect something to the OBD2 port but cut that out of the video. not very helpfull....

I wish whoever did the job on my Liberty did work this clean. I have balls of electrical taped wires every where under there. I'm trying to trouble-shoot a broken vehicle speed sensor wire, which supposedly is white with orange.
