So proud of new jeans that most controversy about them was addressed immediately, straight forward, and effortlessly in a way that makes the fans and antis themselves feel stupid for bringing up such things in the first place. This is what companies should understand is if their idols didn't really do anything wrong there's no need to silence them and hope that everything would calm down and go away the next day, cause yes things could calm down but it would never go away. I still feel bad that they have to go through this so young but their doing well and im proud
When I saw the ITZY concept teaser, I borderline thought it was aespa, because of the lighting, outfits, hair, and especially because Lia is on hiatus. Do I think their team had intentions of copying aespa, no, I don't. Do I see the similarities, yes, I absolutely did.
Thats pretty crazy cs I can see the aespa comparison now but I hadnt thought of aespa at all when I saw it

yeah I made a video on it on my main channel and I was scared I was gonna be hated on so much for “hating” but most of the reasons were that the outfits looked similar, Ryujins hair looked like Karinas, and that they were only 4 but I think it’s mostly a coincidence.
It literally takes months of preparation before they even release the teaser, and drama came out a month ago, there’s no way they could have copied
I had the exact same thoughts especially because there are four of them without Lia and because of the colour tone of the teaser. The ladies are looking amazing in these teasers though.
it's crazy to me that people thought Newjeans had a bad relationship because of 1 clip. Ignoring all the other times that show them having a good relationship. It's like they saw that clip and ignored everything else.

With the Jeju flight WakeOne did not check if their Chinese members need passports, so Zhang Hao got his documents on the phone fortunately so they let him on a plane, but Ricky didn't had it so he waited alone on the airport behind a stand and had to take next flight. They filmed portion of their show without him.
And now they announced that he has problem with passport and visa, he was send to Shanghai right after MMA I believe to probably try to resolve his visa problem, but it was like two weeks ago. May I add he was heading there with one staff member all alone while group of "fans" were following his every move, up in his personal space.
So their planing and management doesn't seem very good, they took to long and sent him alone, while Zhang Hao who is also Chinese do not have that problem occur.
they sent hao to china alone with one staff member too and the staff that was with both hao and ricky when they flew to china is actually from yuehua. my guess is that ricky's passport was probably close to expiring since he's around the age where people tend to have to renew passports(19) and hao probably didn't have any issues despite also being chinese probably cause his passport is newer and isn't close to expiring.
Ever since Zerobaseone debuted Ricky has been constantly involved in unnecessary dramas. How about him leaving the group?

I think Hyein adressing the misunderstanding/criticisms of the fans about that short clips is very brave and to not apologize. Because a lot of idols will not even adress it and just apologize even if it isn't their fault. She is doing the right thing.
Ricky was left behind, the rest of the members left to film CAMP ZEROBASEONE without Ricky. They didn't just stop to ask questions or for documents.

With the Ricky Jeju thing he WAS left behind because he wasn't get on the flight with the other members and had to get a later one causing to have to film their predebut reality show without him
i say this as a midzy, my, and blink: nobody copied anybody. no one has any actual claim or ownership over hairstyles, lighting, sets, 4 member poses, or fashion trends. this is so unserious

Yeah Ricky got left behind previously. They were going to Jeju Island, so they weren't leaving South Korea, but they didnt have the correct documentation for the Chinese members.
Hao came first on Boys Planet, and was also picked as the center for the global side for the introduction song. Hanbin, who was picked as the Korean center ended up coming second, after being first place throughout the show until the final. So their picks came first and second.
They managed to get Hao's documents sorted so he could go to Jeju to film, but Ricky got left behind.
Ricky was my one pick, and ended up coming fourth. He's a popular member. But I don't think they *wanted* him in the lineup. It's kind of like with GP999 where they seemingly didn't want Bahiyyih in the lineup but she made it in.
It's not a good look that they didn't have this sorted. Most of the time when I see claims of mistreatment it's overblown. But this is different. I hope there's no more BS with Ricky after this.
Even Mnet didn't want him to debut lol. Fortunately his father paid the way for him, so why are you complaining? There is no mistreatment, just exaggerations from his fandom.

Yes Ricky has a very rich family if he wanted to debut and just pay for it he could easily pay to debut in one of the big 4 companies and not go through the whole boys planet bs, where the show doesn't want him in the line up, was evil edited, and when that didnt work they didnt gave him any screen time instead, stressed him out and got into arguments, to only debut in wakeone where they themselves had to hard carry their own name, as proven with Kepler having the support of mnet is not enough. And there's no way his father would pay for his debut since it's been known that boys planet is his last chance to debut before his family would have him quit being an idol and start helping on running business, and for me that says his father would rather have hin not debut, so shit really isn't adding up with you girl. Ricky wasn't my pick either and there are some that I do disagree being in the final line up but Ricky is very well deserved

There was a disagreement between him and Jingxan? (I don't remember his name). These things happen between teammates all the time. Even your favorite groups have had situations like this behind the scenes, no matter how good they hide them. I don't say he was Mnet's pick, but he was definitely not evil edited. That word has a different meaning and doesn't apply to Ricky's situation.

ITZY's new era looks A LOT like Aespa's Drama? Yes. Is it plagiarism? Absolutely not.
I'm no K-Pop industry expert, but I feel like it takes MONTHS of preparation to make a comeback *specially* when it's a rebranding with a member on hiatus, a full album and a world tour in the works. Even if wanting to do so, the timing isn't right or enough.
Also, it was a coincidence with Drama, cuz it was the first time for Aespa to pull smth similar to this concept since Girls (a year and a half ago).
To that we add the previous accusations of Drama being Aespa copying Le Sserafim (what was that???) and then we pull Blackpink & Everglow into the conversation which leads us to the MIND-BLOWING conclusion that maybe this isn't a "one-group exclusive" thing but rather a concept used by many.
People just won't stop hating on ITZY since Sneakers. They wanted them to change and they did (In The Morning/Cheshire), then wanted them to go back to what they were and they did (Cake) and then wanted them to change AGAIN, following their japanese discography and when they are doing that, guess what? Still unhappy, still smth to change.

Girl Ricky was left behind then and because of that he missed the first part of Jeju episode. And now because of another passport issue he is gonna miss aaa too.
When jeju thing happened we didn't say much because things could happened. But when it happened to the same person twice don't tell us we are overreacting. Wakeone had more than three months get things done.
I hate it when fans talk about visa’s as if the company is “sabotaging “ the idol , getting a visa really detailed and long process it can take from a month to a year just to get an appointment , the boarder can make up their own rules and find reasons not let you in even if you have a visa , it can get really complicated and this is a legal situation, no company would try to mess up a legal situation, even if it’s a “bad company “ I bet they’re trying find ways to help the idol with a visa issue cus it’s actually a serious topic

The way wakeone shot that Jeju episode without Ricky instead of waiting for him because of THEIR MISTAKE they made him feel ostracized. WAKEONE should’ve done this visa shit way before but they purposely want to leave Ricky out because hes chinese
They can't just stop because of one mistake, Yall are blaming the company when it's not their fault. I get it wakeone is a bad company yeah yeah, But companies don't deal with their groups visa's. they might assist but, that's all. It was ricky's responsibility to renew his visa and get all the information he needed for the jeju video. I'm in no way defending wakeone because Ik they are a bad company but, the idols take care of their own visa's and passports because it's THEIR signature NOT wakeone's. and if they didn't want ricky in the video because he is chinese then why didn't they not take out hao? make it make sense.

glancing at itzy’s concept photos, they look like aespa before i get a better look at their faces. that red ready to be font looks so similar to the drama font. it probably wouldnt feel as similar if they were released further apart, but drama is only a month or so old.

not gonna lie, Hyein sounds a bit mad when she addressed this issue. for me it seems like she really didn't have a clue that this would be an issue and seems very frustrated about being misunderstood. this time I do think that it seems like Hyein was the one who had the initiative to clear things out, not the company.
and regarding Ricky's visa, yes they will need to apply for business visa (and honestly the process is quite complicated here in ID). actor Lee Jongsuk once got deported after he and his team using a tourist visa to attend his fan meeting in Jakarta ( I believe the promoter is the culprit here). it not really that simple unfortunately.

Im not going to lie, after Wendy came back from recovering i did not recognize her. And to this day i still will catch a glance at her and im like "Who's that" until i really think about it. She does look very different, i used to be able to point her out easily. I'll also mention i'm not a reveluv, if i was im sure id recognize her better. None of this to say her surgery is bad, she literally needed it, or that idols who get surgery are bad. But i see where people are coming from when they say they dont recognize her.

I'm pretty sure Wendy did get reconstructive surgery, she feel from nearly 10 feet and she didn't just fall she fell face first and had a fractured cheekbone and multiple other injuries including broken pelvis and wrist. It's honestly surprising to me that both her and solar of mamamoo who found her are still idols to this day

Many thought so. I can't tell you how many comments I read where people were speculating on which members of JYPE girlgroups were going to be in the supposed sub-unit. This would not have come about if some K-Pop news channels didn't talk about it until something was said about Twinzy. Now, I realize that these channels are reporting news, but in that case as with some others, nothing had been confirmed.

Visa's can be complicated, yes, but the company is heavily incompetent. As a company that knows they are going to send these groups overseas, I feel like you should know all the ins and outs of travel. Yes to me the company is to blame.

I don’t really understand why are people blaming WakeOne for his visa being denied, like if you want to put the blame on someone, that should be on the goddamn Embassy’s, like really for all the other situations aswell, that blame should go on the Embassy’s who issue the visas and stuff not WakeOne
lemme just explain this thoroughly for people to understand. The AAA was announced ALL THE WAY in september. This has happened before when they went to jeju and still didnt fix it and it wasnt even them who fixed it but ricky himself when he went back to china. The reason people are blaming wakeone is because THEY KNEW already about the whole thing and still delayed rickys passport DESPITE THE FACT they already knew about this issues.
