Literally in the first episode it shows. When Scott was first becoming a werewolf, he was looking stuff up and what not to do (which Scott did). He was there for Scott Day 1.

literally. there’s a few scenes that pissed me off about scott being a shitty friend to stiles. when stiles and derek were in the pool (literally could have/almost drowned) stiles called scott but scott was just like “i can’t talk right now” and hung up on him. fast forward to him talking to allison saying something along the lines of “if you’re ever in trouble call text i’ll always pick up” with stiles literally right by them.
the scene where scott first learned control and was saying shit about how this means he won’t kill allison even though he almost killed stiles and didn’t even seem to care. just focused on allison. he always put her over stiles, his best friend.
the scene at the motel where scott was trying to off himself and was telling stiles that they were nothing before scott got bit. literally telling him that stiles was a nobody, that the only reason he matters is because he got bit. i understand he wasn’t thinking right but it still hurt having him say that to stiles and i’m sure it hurt stiles. and yet stiles still stepped into the water and told scott that if he was going he’d have to take stiles with him.
the fact that scott didn’t even consider listening to stiles about theo even though stiles was RIGHT ABOUT HIM
In my opinion Scott was a bad bad friend to stiles. He deserves so much better

Scott didn't listen about Theo and threw Stiles away like a used diaper at one point
@CarpeNoctem1864, did Stiles give Scott a reason to trust him? He strictly asked Stiles to explain his side of the story and what did Stiles do? Lash out at him like he did something he shouldn't have instead of explaining himself.
Theo described Stiles killing Donovan like he just brutally killed with no real reasoning behind it.
Thats why when Stiles finally did come out and explained his side to Scott. Scott asked him why couldn't he just tell him that he would have looked pass it because he knew the difference between murdering someone in cold blood and self defense.

He's not disappointed in scott, he feels guilty that they are all in so much distress because of "him". He is worried that the nogitsune disappeared with Lydia given its track record of brutally murdering people, he remembers everything the nogitsune did while in his body. Scott did everything he could as a new pack alpha trying to juggle everything. Scott was worse in season 5 though, i agree he was a terrible friend S4&5, especially with the whole theo fiasco.
season 5 reminded me of season 1 because Stiles and Scott had fights and in both of them were so confused that they didn't know which way was up or down in both seasons. I just feel bad that Stiles felt like he couldn't tell anyone was he did even though it was self defense because in reality once Stiles told the truth everything was fine and everyone understood, even Scott who hates the idea of killing people and I'm mad at Theo for wedging his way in between everyone. He pitted almost everyone against each other. Not to mention they should've taken into consideration that Stiles hasn't been wrong yet when it comes to bad feelings about later revealed bad people.
I’d have done a better job as alpha than him. Not exactly hard.

I had heard about void stiles since the first season, and as i got near to it, i knew that scott and stiles have a very deep friendship so, i really wanted scott to like-breakdown or get really sad and frustrated with himself for not protecting stiles/not being there for him. And at this scene, i wish he couldve just hugged him real tight, knowing that he got his bff back. Ig we can all agree that Dylan/Stiles owned this season🤣

Scott was the worst friend during season 5, no comparison. the fact that Stile's best friend made him feel like he couldnt tell scott the truth and the fear stiles had over losing scott was heart breaking, while scott did exactly that, abandoned him without hearing his side of the story. all the while keeping in mind how stiles was ready to give up his life to save scott in season 3, when scott wanted to kill himself.
I understand Scott wasn’t a great person first half of season 5 but stiles didn’t defend himself either he could have told Scott what really happened like when they were going to get Kira from the skinwalkers Scott said “I know the difference between murder and self defence”. Failed to mention that right about how after they talked and solves everything they were better get out of your own stiles fantasy I love him as well but Jesus Christ stiles wants the bestest friend he could be either he has a choice when Theo told him Scott or his dad. He rightfully choice hi dad but tackled Scott and got mad for not being there dispute knowing he was injured and KILLED. In fact stiles kinda pissed me off that season

@@Arise-22 , It been long finally hated Stiles in season 5 more then Scott. Yes, Scott was wrong to trust Theo but at one point Stiles also listened to Theo. I seriously was pissed off at Stiles in the episode when they went to look for the chimera to find the cure for his dad. Scott DIED and was not healing no acknowledgement from his so call best friend. I do not think Stiles ever understood how the bite changed Scott. The writing in that season was jumpy and did not connect.
Okay so out of context .....if anything would have happened to Lydia due to him, Stiles literally would have gone insane and as his bestfriend and brother Scott knew that...plus saving a person was more important than hugging Stiles here 🥺

Guys knowing stiles that face he made was most likely because he was scared for Lydia. He experienced what the Nogitsune was like first hand and now it disappeared with Lydia someone who he truly cares for. With the way stiles is he would’ve felt extremely guilty if anything happened to her and would’ve ran out to find her himself if no one else had.
stiles going through a lot and I can see he start to have a trauma and stress. First season he is happy and talkative person.After void episode he become more serious and stress. I remember when he need to face chimera wendigo at library, he was alone. He nearly die. I was sad because he keep it secret from his friends about what happened. This is too much for human stiles. It’s funny how the entire comments section is talking about who loves the other more and who suffered more but the truth is both Scott and Stiles were very concerned about Lydia! Scott was focused on unwrapping Stiles and Lydia was abducted while no one noticed and Stiles was sad that his love was once again in danger because of Void. I feel like a lot of people are saying Scott forgot about him or didn’t care and I just don’t think that’s true. In a perfect world he would have been able to stay with Stiles and make sure he’s ok but in that moment Lydia straight up just vanished. I think this was the show trying to showcase again how difficult the lives of these kids are. They don’t even get a second to cool off from one disaster they just have to brush it off and hop into the next one

Okay I’m seeing soo many comments saying that Scott was a bad friend. Yeah, I don’t think so. There are countless times Scott saves *all* of his friends including Stiles. And in regards to Theo yeah I agree Scott should have listened to Stiles but you know what HE WAS STILL HUMAN. He can make mistakes! No one is perfect. As the protector of Beacon Hills, this literal child took on so much responsibility practically crushing him. When an actor can act with just their eyes and make you feel that strong emotion through a screen you know their amazing. When i was watching that scene the first time i almost cried with stiles the pain and suffering through his eyes is so devastating and scott just running away forgetting stiles broke my heart

Another comment, because people aren't getting this scene. One) Scott and Lydia put themselves in danger to save Stiles, that's how much he meant to them. Two) Scott was there for Stiles when he woke up, so much that he missed the Nogitsune taking Lydia. Three ) Lydia is part of the pack, you wouldn't expect Scott to be calm, right? When I saw that scene to me I saw it in a different light. I don't think Stiles was disappointed in Scott here. More like he was worried about Lydia and scared what Void Stiles would do to her. Even tho it was NEVER his fault, Stiles always felt like it was and here also assumed he'd lost Lydia cause of him.
And also on Scott's part, I see it as he got Stiles back but just lost Lydia and he was scared for her.

I dont think this has anything to do with Stiles being disappointed in Scott for being concerned about Lydia who was literally just kidnapped. We all know how much he loves Lydia and has always always cared for her, so he would be more disappointed if Scott DIDNT care about her or her being gone.
This wasn’t about scott being a bad friend wtf. Scott knows how much lydia means to stiles and saving her was more important than staying there and giving stiles kisses and hugs, they had time for that afterwards. In that moment all stiles could think about was if something had happened to lydia, that’s why scott ran off.
