Is it just me or does anyone else deconstruct their burger, readjust everything then put it back together so that when you do eat it you can get an equal bite of everything?

Sage Vibe I can't figure out which is more overrated In-N-Out or Shake Shack. I'm going with Shake Shack because it's overpriced garbage. At least they have good shakes though.

D Chin bmt134 Agreed. Five Guy's is better, price-wise (compared to Shake Shack) and food-wise. I mean they literally put fries in their cup, put the cup in the bag, and then proceed to dump more fries in said bag.

Hella stoked to go back to In-n-out in December! Had shake shack when I was in NY earlier this year and it was really good, but I love both places

In N Out is the best burger for the price. I am from NYC and I like a good Shake Shack but the price is offputting, also the lines are terrible but there are never ridiculous lines at In N Out. In N Out is more straightforward, less pretentious and a good overall burger.
cozycushins I actually feel like the DT lines at In-N-Out are often ridiculous. But the food is yummy and cheap so it balances out.

See I work at In-N-Out so I know all the ins and outs of that place... Haha jk bad pun! But yeah! We try to make a burgers and fries as best as we can so that customer can be happy! The quality of your burgers weren't probably that great because there might have been a lot of customers so they try to get the burgers out as fast as they can so they won't upset the customer. Also and Chris! How can you go to in n out and not get a burger with meat on it?! Haha! Jk! I love working and eating there and surprisingly I don't get sick of it! But I'm glad you guys like it even though it wasn't as amazing quality as it should have been! Wongfu and INO for life!

I had in n out for the first time in 3 and a half years today. It was so good, it almost brought me to tears. I got an animal style double double and a Neapolitan milkshake and some cheese fries. I can't even comprehend how good it was. I can't even begin to understand why anyone would think any other place is better.
You guys need In-N-Out's special sauce with those burgers and fries ^3^

I live in Michigan, heard great things about "In and Out" but never tried it. We got "Five Guys" which is really good, but I hope i can try "In and Out" in the future!
If you haven't tried out animal style in-n-out fries, DO IT! Deliciousness.
Pro-Tip: In Las Vegas, you can get BOTH In-n-Out AND Shake Shack!
As a Canadian living in Toronto where we have no In-N-Out or Shake Shack, I have tried both a couple of times and really like Shake Shack a lot more. Worth the extra couple dollars every time.

FIVE GUYS is thee best burger joint everrrrr. Their Cajun fries are to die for. And when you order fries, they fill up a cup and place it in the bag but continue to pour more and more fries in the bag. They cook with fresh ingredients and there's even FREE peanuts for you to snack on while you wait. The burgers are so juicy and filling and beautifully made.. I might just have to go get some now, brb!

Next time you come to Boston you have to get tasty burger. That's the absolute best. There's a new burger called "after school special" and it's a burger with Mac and cheese and bacon bits absolutely incredible. They also had a special one time called "best breakfast" and it had a waffle in it. I'm from LA myself and lived in NYC for sometime but out of all the 3

Lived in New York my whole life, BUT I never had Shake Shack ;A; Only because there is always a long-ass line and I'm so impatient for a burger, lol. And I tried In-N-Out once, when I visited Nevada, and it was pretty good.
Other burger places in NY I recommend: Counter, BRGR, and smashburger!

Did anyone get their burger animal style? I haven't had it in forever so I couldn't tell from the video, but that's how I always had In-N-Out. I miss it so much! Now I'm in NY so I've had my share of Shackburgers and Five Guys. I like all of them for different reasons :P
I love In-N-Out. I always get a double-double with grilled onions. Perfect ratio of meat to vegetables. I've tasted their meatless burgers and they were alright. The affordability you mentioned is one of the selling points. You can get better burgers, but a meal for 5 dollars that tastes that great is fantastic.

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this but. it's not impossible to compare both side by side. I'm from Vegas and you can actually get Shake Shack @ The New York New York Hotel and In n Out is less than a block away.

I'm from New York and I gotta say, In N Out is way better. The quality that you get for the price is unbeatable. Sure, Shake Shacks tastes good but it's too pricey for what it's worth.
