I-5 in Orange County sure is a thrilling and wide freeway and heading north leads to L.A. and south leads to SD. Didn't you know, I-5 between the Mexican border and East L.A. Interchange used to be US 101 until 1964. What's cool about I-5 in Orange County are the express lane system and the world's busiest Y interchange aka the El Toro Y. Another is one of the most complex 5 way interchanges aka the Orange Crush Interchange.
As always, Kyle, your vids are a good watch. However, to be honest, the ones in the outskirts are more fun to watch. These in the populated areas just don't show the beautiful horizons and views of the areas. Still enjoy your channel. Keep up the great travels you share.
I live in Florida now (since 1984) but it is very surprising to me how little has changed since I grew up there next to the 405/605 interchange in the late 60's and 70's. I remember taking a friend from Iran for a cruise for a few hours and showing him just some of the vast freeway system and he could not believe it.
I’ve been on interstate 5 in Buena Park and the 91 interchange is a massive interchange. The 5 southbound and northbound split from one another to allow room for the 91/5 freeway carpool connector before reconnecting at magnolia avenue. The weird thing is this is exactly how my my vision of the 91/71 interchange may have looked if the 71 continued south of state route 91 into Corona.
InterstateKyle I've started doing some road trip videos like on Cape Cod and I have one in Hawaii. How do you have the camera on all the time and concentrate on driving at the same time?
Santa Ana is a safe city? Not from my experience it ain't. There a reason why here in OC, we consider Santa Ana the ghetto section of OC, and I live next door in Garden Grove.
That is a awesome drive I drove through 3 years ago while I was driving to San Diego
I agree, it really gives a sense of, I'm in LA now!
OC has impressive freeways.

Awesome video Kyle! Nice to see you back! Well executed! Perfect music! Mark in Iowa.
Thanks as always Mark!
Splendid! I didn't realize it was the 5th most populated place in the US.
Thank you for making such a wonderful video you made using my footage :)
My cousin lives in Rancho Santa Margarita u passed by there car! I just live North of Anaheim on the San Gabreail Valley
This was the first stretch of Interstate we drove on during our first visit to the US in 95.
One of my favorite videos so far! Learned some stuff about the 5 I that didn't know as most of the freeway is my daily commute :)

That was a great video, I plan to eventually do some road trip videos myself.
That's awesome and thank you! Feel free to join my Facebook group if you have any questions about getting started. Link in the description.

the 91/5 interchange look like the two freeways break apart
into a dozen pieces and recollect

He uses a camera mounted inside of his car.
i miss driving my music on the 5
You can’t see Disneyland from the freeway
You can only see like 1% of it
1:03 I didn't know that before
5:21 the frontage road is not that very long and idk why is it called the “truck bypass”
How many MPG do you get?
About 40 on the highway.

Santa Ana is safe, recently moved to Anaheim and I’ve seen more crime in one year here than I ever saw in 23 years in Santa Ana
Santa Ana is not a major city. /
Orange County...boring LA
