Guys his voice is different because 1. Smoking has a huge impact on a person's voice and he doesn't smoke anymore 2. Microphone quality is a lot better than it used to be 3. He's not constantly singing anymore so his vocal chords are no longer strained like they used to be
And another thing (I hope this dose'nt sound rude, I love him like he is now) is on the wide shot at the end 1:46 he really isn't that big. People just don't like change. I mean for 40 he's still hot.

You know how most people wish mcr was still together? I can't be mad. At some points, he was really depressed and into bad things, and it wasn't always great when they were together. Now it seems like he's really happy, he seems like a good father, and he gets to lead a pretty normal life. Seeing him happy (and anyone else for that matter) makes me happy. Edit: but don't get me wrong, mcr is and always will be fantastic and I _would_ be happy if they got back together.☺😁

He was clean & appeared much more relaxed & confident than he does in this video. I just don’t buy the “now he’s all better” line. It sounds like all the other times he has said the same thing.
