This video helps a lot! I tried to escape by triggering lockdown and going out the front door, but i spent 2 minutes just trying to figure out what to do once i was out of the building. Lockdown is pretty easy to obtain, but it's very time consuming, not recommended for fast escaping.
Razor Leaf Plan: get 80 intelligence and two sturdy shovels and a single sturdy cutter. You will also need a guard outfit, a tunnel brace, and a fake fence. During evening roll call, go to the top gate and cut the fence on the right side at lights out. If unlucky, this will take a few tries to do without getting caught. Leave and use your fake fence block. Circle around to the front and dig at the corner next to the left wall. Dig two spaces down and one space to the right - you can go another space down if the first right space is occupied. You will be out of energy, so DO NOT start digging the exit hole and instead close the hole, flush excess dirt, and go back to sleep by removing the fake fence and putting it back. On the second night, go back to the hole, re-dig, and make your exit. Good job.
While that sounds like a good plan, that sounds like a lot to get done in the first day, you'd have to be pretty lucky to get 2 shovels, cutters, a brace and fence, then dig in two days. Its been awhile since ive played TE1 though, maybe it's possible. I like this idea, escaping in unique ways is very fun.
What about just getting red key something to dig and feather and ink.with red key you go through the fences at the north at night of course you dig and get out use the red key to get the escape thing sign it and GET OUT WHILE YOY STILL CAAAN
Its been a few years, but you can craft a contraband pouch with Foil and Duct Tape (Lets you take contraband through detectors), you can buy duct tape on the other side (Probably what I did), or just run and gun it over and hope you aren't sniped to death (I do not recommend this).
İ think an easier way is to just have plastic red key, something to dig, probobly controband pouch, şnk and feather with the red key go through the fences at the north dig with the thing you have and go outside use the red key to get paper and sighn it it should work better right?
problem with the runs ive done is that the officers look in that area with the metal and timber regularly, and once they notice it I immediately get set to solitary. Ive left food in there and it has gotten taken. might be different versions but IDK
Its been a few years so I may be wrong, but I believe they can be broken with a pickaxe. If you reload the day when you dug, the rock might not spawn. If you cannot get rid of it, you should have infinite wood with the box, so you can dig around the rock and make timber braces with your infinite wood.
It’s been a long time since I’ve played but I want to say the hammer works on the wall. Forks are there everyday though and they won’t get caught in the metal detector.

I like how the guard at the checkpoint didn’t care that you were an inmate he just let you go
That's why ID papers exist
The guard have been very sleeply and he don t care about anything
I mean, you had signed papers, so he probably thought that a cop gave it to you to let you leave.
Thats why you have the ID card or else he says "you are done for" and some police comes +i learned it hard way)

You can do the entire thing in a single day if your very experienced and very lucky
I did a prison takeover, took the guard with the red key, got the feather, ink, and ID papers before lockdown ended

For some reason i instantly get caught an hour after roll call even though i have a bed dummy
@@cam935n pretty sure you need to wait until it’s fully dark outside. Probably a good idea to wear a guard outfit too.

What do you do with all the dirt? Cant take it to toilets because its contraband.
And theres only so much space inside the corridor ll
Give it to other inmates / put it on their bodies if you KO them
