- We are finally back trail building on our jump line with a pretty rad feature. The Box Jump. In this video I'll show you the process I took to make this feature and explain how to design your own bike ramp!

I think what makes seth so entertaining is that he represents most of us mtbers, hes not crazy doing huge jumps, he doesnt have a wealth of sponsors to give him free shit in return for shoving the products down our throats and theres no huge budget and a crew to make things happen and hes just here to have fun. I got a Siskiu d5 about a month ago and am in love. As I get better just need to get better suspension but honestly a great bike for the price

Seth is exactly like me. I need to improve my jumping confidence, the only thing is that i dont have any place to build jumps
This isn't always true especially if you live in a national park in your country or some other important place but sometimes you can find jump parks built by kids or by adults that you can add onto to work on your jumping skill

@@always110percent4 you could use the app trailforks on your phone or ask around if you know anyone else that rides around where you live. another way is to just go out and ride and maybe you'll find something, just dont get lost lol

Hey ur better at berms than me last week I roasted through and over one and nearly demolished my shoulder. Luckily I bailed early or else it’d be bad. Anyways I’m fine now but still I need a ton of berm work. Awesome vid and build!!! You continue to impress every time!!!
When I was lerning to corner a found that coming in to the burm wide and high as you can then come out low to setup for whatever’s next
This works best on a well packed burm and will deliver pleany of speed without having to lean too much
As you profess you’ll be able to lean more and more each time

Nice one! I've definitely never used a computer to design a jump, and don't really use the angle either, I use radius and height, which I determine from experience and eyeballing it. Really cool to see other ways to do it!

This is so cool. I really enjoyed the explanation of how you came up with the 45 degree ramp. I also like the how to see how much wood you would use. What tooth count is your saw blade? Also is that pressure treated wood? I ask because that is super hard to rip through. Ride on!!

Thanks for explaining which radius is the right I want to build a wood jump too but I need a other radius because I have to jump ca 3 meters(ca9food) and do not habe much speed. The ramp should be 1,2-1,4meters high(ca.4-6food)

Your confidence has gone up so much. Try a berm that has a tight turn, I feel I hit them higher to keep speed threw the turn. Maybe a 180
