So....the late Jack Elliott and the late Allen Ferguson, the Masterminds behind the music to Barney Miller, Fish, The Original Charlie's Angels and LORIMAR were the ones that did music to House Calls I 💙 the theme to this show after watching this, it was a very underrated Comedy-Drama and I thought Lynn Redgrave did a great job with the show God Bless You Miss Redgrave, R.I.P. Comedy Great
Lynn Redgrave left House Calls after the second season over a contract dispute. She had wanted to breastfeed her child on the set and executives at CBS said no. Ultimately she left the series to be replaced by Sharon Gless. However, Gless hated working with Wayne Rogers, and the series ended after the 3rd season.
Even the theme under the closing credits wasn't the original: for some reason, this version used the SECOND SEASON theme, "Enjoy the Ride", by Bill & Kathy Greer.
@@ClassicTVMan1981X Both were composed by Robert Prince. The original jingle for season one run had the UTV logo theme, not the Fall 1980 version for season two nor the Fall 1981 version for its third & final season either.
Wayne Rogers was a great actor.

Thanks. I used to watch this as a kid. Now it seems like a dream sequence / parallel universe comedic version of HOUSE.

And also the 1980-81 version of the Universal TV logo theme. The original season 1 run had the 1977-80 version.

@@markelijio6012 As I said, season 1 had the '77 theme because they were still using it in the 1979-80 season.
@@ClassicTVMan1981X Oh, I see. Now I got it. Thanks.
