i should inform you the guitarist just turned 20 years old a few months ago and the front man is 22. it's so wonderful to me that not only did this type of song win the eurovision song contest, but also that it's by a younger generation born in the 2000s. never let this genre die, people.
Not sure about rock, but metal isn't dying if you follow the metal genre and subgenres there are so many bands in each subgenre and always new songs coming out as well. Can't really say the same for rock. But metal will keep on going forever

Whatever guys, don't argue. They can do different styles, have started with reggae-ish, are dressed glam-ish, implement a bit rap (crossover?). I am not an expert, so when I write "hard rock", I refer to anything that's a bit harder than the Stones or Beatles, but not as hard as Sepultura, KoRn etc. So let's conclude: Italian is great for this kind of rock. 😉
It's incredible that they came out from X-Factor Italy. And they are so young, the singer is 21, the guitarist and the bass player 20 and the drummer only 19.
@@pirimpallopirimpalli4932 Yes they were busking but at the time they were only 16, 17 and 18 years old, so they were students but sometimes they used to play music in the streets. Then they partecipated to Xfactor Italia, they didn't win but they had a lot of success.
Coming back to the video 'cause I've discovered something new: the reason why the track sounds almost live it's because it almost is. What I mean by that is that instead of using a 60 channels mixer with 2000 sections recorded separately and than stitched together they went with the good archaic style of jamming all in one room and all at the same time and to me that's the spark, that's the difference between computer generated music and actually live played one... it's the imperfections that makes a track perfect!

Drums has been mixed using a lot of natural "real" room with a bit of distortion and compression and this compression rate has been applied to the kick, snare and toms tracks.

The band has explained that they created this song about 5 years ago, and it was slow, completely different. It had to be a ballad. They were just aged 16-18...that's amazing! But about 6 months ago, Thomas, the guitarist, created riffs and together with the other guys turned it into a rock version. God bless these new fab four ! 🤟
They are amazing! I've been listening to their music all week and every song is great. Best band I've heard in a while. They really bring the music to life and even though I don't speak Italian they make you feel their music.

I was quite angry because in Europe a lot of people were saying that they won because they're hot, and that was why people voted for them.
