As an auto body technician, I'd also like to see her do my job. Not saying women can't do it, but there's a reason it's a male dominated industry. What is a 120lb girl supposed to do when she encounters bolts that require ridiculous amounts of strength to break free where impacts can't fit, or pick up parts that weigh upwards of 100lbs that you need to hold for extended periods of time. Or hammering high strength steel back into place using brute force. The list goes on. Some women can handle it, but not many

Most start off as detailers making around 20-40k a year then you'll typically move on to become a tech helper making anywhere from 30-60k then once you go on your own as a B-tech you can make anywhere from 50-100k and as an A-tech you'll make around 80-140k a year. I've met some A-techs making over 200k a year with teams and some A-techs bringing in 160-175k a year by themselves, but those guys are sharks and work like crazy, work hard, work long, and work fast. I've been in the industry for 6 years now and running on almost 2 years on my own and I'm averaging about 85k a year

Been an Auto Tech for 20 yrs. never seen a woman that could fix a car. Changing spark plugs or brakes is not fixing a car that's maintenance.
I work in IT. In my current job all the technical people are men. My manager is a woman and I work with three other women managers most of the time. They all back each other up and I do almost all the real work for the group because of the "matriarchy".

"societal pressures" isnt even a thing either because the current way of thinking is that women can do anything a man can, yet we dont see a lot more female plumbers, electricians, construction workers.
