  • This game was a new milestone in 2003. But did it withstand the challenges of time?

It was the best game of it's kind in 2003. I think you are bit harsh. Many of the negative points you make are things that simply makes it a near 20 year old game. It made iron sights popular and was the first game to have a kill cam feature. The reason it feels boring is because they have since remade this game many times over making things better each time. So it kinda feels like playing a blueprint of the later games. What's your opinion on Medal of Honor Allied Assault and Return to Castle Wolfenstein ?

Hello. Yep, that was the point of this video. It's an opinion that doesn't take into account the age of the game and it is not expressed through the nostalgia prism. That's about how the game feels today, when trying to apply modern standards, basically... unbiased🙂. And I agree that it was one of the best the industry could offer back at the time. I guess that's the game I played most number of times in my childhood. A blueprint... Yeah, a good point. That's how it feels. I actually made a video about Call of Duty 2 where I mentioned that they fixed most frustrating moments and it was actually quite fun to play even today(I even had some ROFL moments with grenade spam, check it out🤣).
Medal of Honor - I heard about it. My friend recommended me to try but I didn't have the time and forgot about it. I hope I can fix this one day. Wolfenstein - I have good memories about it. But I played it so long ago and I didn't finish it. I don't remember why... probably was distracted by something else. Sometimes it happens to me. When I was a kid, I also played an addon - Operation Trondheim. I remember enjoying it too but to say anything about Wolfenstein I have to play it now. Otherwise it would be nostalgia speaking, not me. We humans tend to forget negative and remember positive sides. It happens not only with the games. Sometimes I watch a movie, read a book or listen to a music I used to like. Sometimes it holds up, sometimes it doesn't. Thank you, have a wonderful day!🤝
